Is There An Internal Air Filter In The Nissan Rogue?

The air filter is located inside the air filter housing on the left hand side near the radiator of the Nissan Rogue. It is essential to replace the cabin air filter in a 2020 Nissan Rogue for several reasons, including improving air quality inside the car, removing pollutants, dust, and allergens, and ensuring the right air filter is used.

For those looking for an OEM or aftermarket cabin air filter, the Puroma Cabin Air Filter with Activated Carbon is an ideal choice. To replace the cabin air filter yourself, double-check the owner’s manual for the part’s precise location, usually behind the glovebox. A screwdriver, a rag, and a small vacuum are typically needed.

The function of the cabin air filter is to keep the air in your vehicle clean. As air from the outside passes through the filter, it will be cleaned and freshened. The cost of replacing the cabin air filter depends on the amount of driving, but both parts combined cost about $35 and are easy to use.

The HVAC Cabin Air Filter, part 27277VR00A, fits Nissan Xterra 2005-2015, Nissan Frontier 2005-2020, or Nissan Pathfinder 2005-2012. It is easy to clean and reuse, and comes with a 100 satisfaction guarantee.

In summary, the air filter is a crucial component in maintaining the air quality inside the vehicle. By replacing the cabin air filter, you can enhance the comfort and safety of your Nissan Rogue.

  • Can you go into detail how to remove the glove box for 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport? I think it’s different. Also I don’t think their is even an air cabin filter behind the glove box for the sport version. I looked and all I see is an aluminum housing for air bag. Unless I didn’t look good enough but was able to get my phone behind the glove box to see and didn’t see filter door

  • Thank you so much I just did it myself everything in this article helpful but the arrow on my new filter must face the rear of the car, the old filter came out super loaded with dirt I think it’s the original one, the cover over the filter quite tricky and hard to figure out how to take it out, honestly the position of this filter very bad and narrow, hurting the spines of the back trying to sit in a position to replace it, pushing the front seat to very back gave me extra space to sit

  • first article I found that told how to remove the decorative plastic covers. THANK YOU for this, and instead of simply removing it, thanks to your commentary, I will spring to get it replaced correctly on my next service. I figured it to be a waste of money as I live on a long dusty dirt road, but your commentary changed my mind. Thanks again.
