The Ford Raptor is a popular SUV that comes in three different color packages: Ford Performance Blue, Ford Recaro, and the standard aluminum trim. The Accent Package offers a unique design with orange accents on front and rear seats, front and rear door inserts, and above the glove box insert. The base Raptor’s interior can be any color you want, as long as it’s black with gray accent stitching.
The Raptor is available with optional carbon-fiber interior accents and more aggressively bolstered Recaro front. The Accent Package includes seat trim, stitching on steering wheel, doors, dash, shifter, and boot, aluminum accents on the dash above the glove box, and a moonroof. The Recaro seat package is worth it, as it is said to be more comfortable with thicker bolsters.
The Raptor is also available with optional carbon-fiber interior accents and more aggressively bolstered Recaro front. The order guide only states “Unique Dash” if the Carbon Fiber option is not ordered. The Raptor has been available in two interior colors, black onyx or rhapsody blue, and a moonroof. The all-in price of the truck is $85,145.
In summary, the Ford Raptor offers a unique design with a unique color package, including the Recaro seat package, which is considered more comfortable due to its bright orange accents.

Why are Ford Raptors so expensive?
The Raptor is a robust and stylish off-road truck that offers a spacious interior with luxurious black leather. Its bucket seats are comfortable and plush, making it suitable for a family of five traveling cross-country or to the store. The interior also provides ample space for groceries and other items not to be exposed in the truck’s bed. It is comparable to full-size off-roading trucks like the Ram 1500 or Chevy Silverado 1500.
What is the disadvantage of Ford Raptor?
The Ranger Raptor, a truck that competed in the PVOTY judging team, was criticized for its lack of body armor and off-road performance. While it was considered the most carlike on pavement, it performed better on hard surfaces than off-road. The Ranger felt more like a pseudo-sporty car on the pavement, with a blatty exhaust note indicating its benign handling when driven in a hooligan manner. However, it didn’t carry as much body armor as its Bronco and F-150 brethren and its breakover angle didn’t rival theirs.
The judges were unimpressed by the way the Ranger handled the washboard section of the off-road layout, where the chassis felt notably upset by bumps. Features editor Scott Evans suggested that to make off-road fun, the only way to make it fun off-road is to shift manually, as the gearbox constantly selects too high a gear and the computer constantly fights the driver. Despite its potential for faster off-road racing, the Ranger Raptor didn’t provide more enjoyment than the other trucks.
What are the best years to buy a Ford Raptor?
The Ford Raptor is a popular vehicle with various models, with the best being the 2010 and 2020 models. The worst are the 2009, 2012, and 2014 models. The CoPilot car shopping app offers a curated list of the best used cars near you, searching dealership inventories for a personalized list. Hey man, I’m happy you got your raptor! We spoke a few weeks ago when I asked if the 801a came with push start. Well I went ahead and went with the 801a package with all the other upgrades in ford performance blue. I wanted the push start but could not put together paying another 8-9,000 more for extra stuff I could really care less. I did confirm with ford no push start, but they did confirm for me that it does come with the screen In the cluster which was only available only in 802a from 2019 back. How long did you order take to come in?
Hey Jorge It’s very nice. Great article. I don’t know if you remember me but a while back I told you that I was ready to buy but my husband always wanted a V8 and he got wind that it might be coming bin and the 2029 Raptor so he ants to wait. What is your opinion on that? Do you think Ford will make a 2020 V8 Raptor? Thanks you.
Those suede seats are a nice idea in a perfect world but OMG they will get so ruined and dirty black after a year. Having had suede in sports cars that dont get driven often the suede always gets worn out quick. So on a truck that people drive ALOT that suede doesnt stand a chance. I would stick with the all leather seats. The black leather in my 2013 raptor still looks almost new after 160k miles.
I had a 2018 Raptor and the seats felt and looked good in my opinion. However, these new suede seats take it to the next level. If I was to get another Raptor I would have to have these seats, period. Since I usually only keep one vehicle, the Raptor was not very practical for my needs. That does not diminish the fact that I still think it’s the baddest “truck” on the planet.
