I’m about to go through this with a 04 Classic. There are some differences (rolling lock tab, and a screw holding the latch handle piece, behind the handle, but easily accessible.) Running into the following symptoms: Door Open indicator constantly on, Dome light on, when driving, getting the indicator chime, and doors will not auto-lock, nor can I lock them with the electric lock tab. (pushing down on either driver or passenger door) (though if I move the lock tab to Unlock, it does actuate the unlock solenoid) IF ignition is off, parked, etc.. I CAN lock all doors with the lock tab. (pushing down as normal) Also been running into the occasional problem, especially in cold weather (welcome to winter in New England) of the auto shut-off for the radio not working when I open the door, and usually took 2-3 tried closing, and re-opening door..
