The user is experiencing difficulty getting out of the “view” mode when switching to the cockpit view of their spacecraft. This issue occurs when the player is in a space mission and is viewing the world as their Kerbal. To exit the “default” external view of their spacecraft, they typically press L1 and down on the Right Analog Stick (R3) without the cursor on screen. To toggle the cursor, they can use the ‘ and + keys for switching between vessels.
During an Intra-Vehicular Activity (IVA), the player takes control of a Kerbal within a craft’s command pod. To start an IVA, go to the exterior view of a manned spacecraft. To exit the IVA view without pressing esc and clicking the space center tracking station and then selecting the ship again, they can use the shortcut keys ‘C’ or ‘C’.
For console users, the shortcut keys R1+R3 are used on PS4 and Xbox, while R3 alone works for only one Kerbal. To launch an IVA, go to the exterior view of a manned spacecraft, then mouse over the images in the lower right corner and press the “View” button.
In the Kerbal Space Program (KSP), the user is learning the basics of building a multistage rocket. To exit the “rocket control station” view, click the “view exterior button” and navigate to the “rocket control station” view. Once the rocket is launched, players can learn the basics of flying rockets.
In summary, the user is experiencing difficulties getting out of the “view” mode when switching to the cockpit view of their spacecraft. To resolve this issue, they can use the shortcut keys ‘C’ or ‘C’ to exit the IVA view.

Hmmm… I know that the article begins to date a bit, however I don’t quite get how you are doing to take advantage of clipping to make those extendable supports for landing gears at 1:31… would you care to point to a tutorial or something, I can’t find it, please ? Or even elaborate, that would be great. To recap, the clipping part is fine (shift + drag with move tool), but using that to render something extendable is… beyond my grasp
A mod is something that directly MODifies the software. CKAN is used to acquire mods, but it does not modify anything in KSP itself. CKAN is NOT a mod, it’s a client for acquiring mods (like the curseforge lancher, vortex for nexus mods, etc.). Now, if CKAN ran inside of KSP (which would be pointless, since mods are loaded during launch setup), it would be a mod that acquires mods.
So interesting thing about trim: it sucks since you can’t use it with SAS. This literally makes no sense because you can just set trim manually by using the deploy on your control surfaces. I’ll admit there are a few circumstances where this doesn’t work: roll trim, reaction wheel trim, and engine gimbal trim, but how often are you actually using those? God it would be so nice if they gave us 2 axis deploy control for gimbals. It would make life so easy
