A judge has issued a limited gag order on former President Donald Trump, allowing him to criticize witnesses who took the stand against him. The order is similar to restrictions imposed last year in a criminal case over Trump’s efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss. Legal experts have speculated that the judge may impose a “gag order” on Trump, barring him and his legal team from publicly discussing the case. The limited gag order from district Judge Tanya Chutkan, which was temporarily frozen by the appeals panel when they agreed to hear the case, restricts Trump’s ability to directly attack.
The White House has taken immediate action to remedy gag orders on federal employees that appear to violate multiple federal laws. The Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Agriculture have been placed under de facto gag orders by the Trump administration. U.S. federal employee “gag orders” may be illegal, lawmakers warn Trump, and the administration will not silence or retaliate against whistleblowers. A temporary freeze in at least four departments was ordered while the Trump administration puts political appointees into position. The gag order also barred Trump from making public statements about jurors, court staff, lawyers in the case, or relatives of them.
The Trump administration has imposed an unprecedented and unjustified expansion of the “global gag rule”, as part of a weaponization of U.S. law. The Interior Department was recently ordered to shut down its Twitter accounts temporarily after the National Park Service retweeted a number of tweets. Trump continues to complain that the gag orders are unconstitutional and violate his First Amendment right to free speech.

Damn good points in here…and we don’t even have to get into the “its her body, her business” bit (which makes total sense to me…I’d be pissed as hell with this crap if I was female). Let’s use very simple logic for the simple folk out there: If a woman wants an abortion, for whatever reason, she IS GOING TO FIND A WAY TO GET ONE WHETHER ITS LEGAL OR NOT…she doesn’t give a damn what some law says when there is something growing inside her she wants gone. The only question is will she be doing it safely or not. The “or not” option generally equals complications or death. So…Outlawed abortions equals highly increased chance of death for said woman. Multiply that number by hundreds…thousands…you get the idea. You would think this is simple, siiiiiiiimple math. Apparently some folks out there find logic and reason too difficult to understand. In the meantime, there’s quite a few women out there that are going to take risks and die as a result. Think about it. Keyword: THINK.
