This video provides instructions on how to remove and install door panels on a Ford Expedition or Lincoln Navigator. It covers the front and rear door panels on 2007-2016 Ford Expedition, as well as the front driver’s side door panel on a 2012 Ford Expedition. The video also covers how to take off the plastic interior door panels in a fourth generation 2018, 2019 and 2020 Ford Expedition SUV to upgrade the OEM speakers.
To remove the door handle screw cover, use a screwdriver and cloth to pry up the triangle panel. Unplug the wiring harness and unplug the courtesy panel. If the door regulator, window motor, door lock actuator, latch, or other internal door component is present, unclip the interior door handle before removing the door panel.
To access the two center screws, remove the two bolts and three screws, and remove the door trim panel. Disconnect the electrical screws at the bottom of the door/panel. Remove the plastic surround and pull the entire door towards you. The video also provides a step-by-step guide on how to remove the door panel on this model.
