How To Alter The Light Color Of The Mustang Inside?

This video demonstrates how to change the Halo, Gauge, and Ambient light settings on your Ford Mustang with the premium package using MyColor. The video is valid for 2018+ models and covers the Mustang MyColor feature on the 2020 Mustang GT (“Take Two”).

The 2015 Mustang also features MyColor, which allows you to adjust seven different interior gauge colors. To change these colors, press the setup button to go to the ambient lighting color screen and select the color for your door sill, door handle floor, and more.

For those unfamiliar with MyColor, the process is simple: hold button 1 for that choice until you hear the beep and hit “OK” with the steering wheel button when prompted. The Interior LED Conversion Kit includes all the LEDs needed to replace the factory map, vanity, and glove box.

To adjust the ambient lighting in equipped 2008 Mustangs, tap Settings on the vehicle’s SYNC screen and press Ambient Lighting. The D pad buttons on the left spoke of the steering wheel are used to change the color of the radio, door, and gauges.

Some Mustangs have the MyColor setting on the dash, but it is not available in all models. You can change the brightness level of the ambient cabin lighting through the SYNC settings if you have the touchscreen.
