The ArchiCAD Interior Elevation Tool is a dedicated tool designed for creating interior elevations of interior spaces. It allows users to create clean, beautiful air lines by using the rectangular or polyline input method to draw the Room Boundary or space-click on a Zone. The resulting rectangle/line/polyline represents the Room Boundary of the Interior Elevation group.
To create a single interior, users can use the Interior Elevation Tool and add bounded areas (Interior Elevation Default Settings) to include connected enclosed areas in the viewpoint. This checkbox is recommended for the Marker Head’s Inner Text and Outer Text.
When using the Interior Elevation Tool, users should use the Layout ID on the inside and the Drawing ID on the outside. The arrow on the feedback arrow indicates that the tool is optimized for creating quick and pretty interior elevations in ArchiCAD.
To edit each viewpoint of an Interior Elevation group, users must first select the viewpoint and select any individual Interior Elevation marker. This technique is essential for producing clean air lines and fast masking when placed on layouts. For more information on generic settings common to all tools in the Toolbox, please refer to Working in Tool Settings Dialog Boxes.
