This two-part video series teaches how to build custom door panels using universal car interior upholstery parts from Speedway Motors. The video covers how to paint door panels using Dupli-Color vinyl and fabric Flat Black for the F350 shop truck. The process begins with laying the door panel on a solid work surface and pulling the carpet covering the map pocket at one corner. The black plastic backing under the door is covered with Martin Senour interior paint, custom mixed with color chips to match the door panels.
The video then demonstrates how to prepare the hardboard base, using a selected thickness. The video also discusses the process of painting interior pieces like trim rings around gauges and door speakers, which can be changed in color. Dupli-Color offers a wide variety of products to restore or customize the interior of your vehicle, from prep to the final step.
The video also discusses the importance of external and interior tuning in improving the appearance of a truck interior. It also discusses custom speaker door panels, such as 6.5s or 8″ speakers, and the use of purple interior decoration trim kits for Jeep Wrangler 4 Door 2011 2017. The video concludes by highlighting the durability and beauty of these premium materials.
