ArcGIS CityEngine is a stand-alone desktop application by Esri that allows users to create 3D data models for urban design and planning. It is used by major animation studios and visual effects houses for the creation of digital sets of urban environments. CityEngine can generate Alembic geometry caches of unlimited size on disk and transforms 2D GIS data into smart 3D city models.
To use CityEngine, you can create a massive city all at once instead of modeling each building individually. It powers rapid adjustments to the architectural style or other features of your city, making it easy to create multiple design scenarios. ArcGIS CityEngine is the perfect tool for your Urban Design workflows, allowing you to bring in real-world context data from ArcGIS Online or Open Street Map and easily create urban designs.
The paper highlights the importance of 3D Procedural Modelling (PM) of cities in the GIS environment using ESRI CityEngine and presents a parametric concept for this process. You can write procedural rules for many interior items such as walls and furniture, and you can also choose to insert assets.
If you have a detailed DSM (including buildings), you can compute the building height and automatically generate LOD1 buildings in ArcGIS CityEngine. You can work consistently and efficiently from design to result, bringing style and atmosphere to every room.

Is Honda City engine good?
The Honda City, a popular mid-size sedan in India, has gained immense popularity due to its reputation and market share. However, recent management changes have led to cost cutting and reduced quality of the cars, particularly the Honda City. A 2015 model, the VX petrol variant, was reviewed, focusing on its pros and cons.
The Honda City boasts a spacious and airy cabin with large windows, sun roof, and rear leg room among the best in the segment. It also features well-cushioned seats with reasonable under-thigh support, two cup holders, door bins for 1 liter bottles, a big center handrest with storage space, seat pack pockets, and a 500 litre boot with a boot light.
The Honda City’s features include a top-notch reverse cam, cruise control, rear AC vents, touch-operated A/C unit, a small 5-inch non-touch color display, Bluetooth connectivity, and side mirrors that can be folded from inside. The audio quality is decent but not the best, with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. Bluetooth connectivity is available, but no Android Auto or car play.
The overall ergonomics of the cabin are spot on, with cruise control switches on the right side and steering mounted, making it easy to use even in city traffic. However, the car’s performance may not meet expectations due to its tight budget constraints. Overall, the Honda City remains a reliable choice for those looking for a mid-size sedan in India.
The iVTec engine is a powerful and efficient vehicle with 119 PS and 145 Nm torque, making it suitable for family driving. It accelerates uniformly and has short gear shifts, but the clutch is heavier. Overtakings are quick when driving alone but require planning when carrying more passengers and luggage. The steering is leather-wrapped and mostly perfect, but not as smooth as the Volkswagen Vento and Scoda Rapid.
The suspension is on the harder side, and even small gutters on the road are felt badly in the cabin. The engine underside is protected with a metal sheet cover, which inspires confidence. The top speeds reached are 140 kph, but it feels nervous to drive beyond that speed due to the small 175 section tires. However, the car has excellent drivability, with the ability to accelerate in 3rd gear from as low as 20 kpmh without choking the engine.
However, many cons of the Honda City are due to its reckless cost-cutting exercise. The styling of the vehicle is given much importance, with lots of vacant space in the engine bay, no cladding under the bonnet or boot lid, and all wiring exposed. The rubber beading surrounding the doors is not complete, and some rubber beadings have already worn off from the front wind shield. NVH levels aren’t good, and the headlamp reflectors focus on the left side of the vehicle instead of the road.
The tyre size is used only for fuel efficiency, and the hard-tuned suspension makes tackling broken roads difficult. Even small gutters are felt inside the cabin. The vehicle sometimes becomes unstable during extremely poor roads. The plastics used on the lower side of the dashboard are of poor quality.
In conclusion, the Honda City is a good vehicle overall, but it is not as reliable and quality-focused as expected. The vehicle has been stuck on the road five times in the last three years, and if Honda cares to address the issues of its products, it could once again be the undisputed king of the segment.

The CityEngine modeling pipeline consists of procedural modeling tools for large-scale urban layouts and CGA rules for detailed building models. A scene is stored as layers of data types representing different stages, and the pipeline is flexible, allowing users to import and process street blocks or building masses at various stages.
What are the disadvantages of Honda City?
The Honda City 2023 has several drawbacks, including a lack of a turbo petrol engine, limited engine options, outdated exterior design, persistent suspension and engine noise issues, and reduced features in the VX variant. BHPian MotorDev has expressed concerns that the Honda City has lost its dream car charm, which was once a popular choice for middle-class Indians due to its reliability, spaciousness, and i-Vtec engine. The car’s appeal has diminished due to these issues.
Is ArcMap outdated?
ArcMap, a software for analyzing and predicting forest cover, is set to end its support in 2026 with the release of ArcGIS 10. 8. 1. This marks the end of the ArcGIS Desktop Product Life Cycle, with no plans to release an ArcMap 10. 9 in 2021. Customers can continue using ArcMap as long as their license is valid, but desktop development efforts will focus on ArcGIS Pro, and migration to ArcGIS Pro is encouraged. Esri software and applications are part of the ArcMap support Product Life Cycle.
What is the common problem of Honda City?
Honda City owners often face transmission issues, particularly in continuously variable transmission models, which can cause rough shifting, hesitation, and occasional slipping. These issues can be caused by fluid problems or internal wear and may require professional servicing. Electrical issues, such as malfunctioning infotainment systems and unresponsive touchscreens, can affect the vehicle’s functionality and user experience. Suspension problems, such as premature wear of struts and bushings, can lead to rougher rides and increased road noise, impacting overall comfort.
Despite these issues, Honda City remains a popular choice due to its practicality, fuel efficiency, and value. Regular maintenance and attention to these issues can ensure a reliable and enjoyable ownership experience.

wow i am blown away by that article. this is gonna make indie game development or small team development or even for films and such so simple and quick. especially easy to understand. I love living in today’s technology. My dreams of making games with realistic cities and etc are definitely gonna happen if these plugin creators keep it up.🙏
Clarify “game ready” here – I have this problem with Kitbash 3D’s assets where the buildings don’t have actual doors. If I’m making a first-person game closer to Cyberpunk 2077 than to Forza, how much work would be involved in setting up interactive doors and windows? Not that this doesn’t look ludicrously amazing, but “game ready” depends a LOT on the game’s genre here.
Amazing tool !!, Kudos to everyone involved, As a 3d archviz content creator i would definitely look forward to it ! Wonder if there could be possible to gather some real city metadata to accurately regenerate the digital twin of it, at least to match the skyline and iconic buildings . please let me know about a feature like this could be possible
Using this to create a big city for a game like spider-man is great, but what about other games requring interriors and interactivity? This looks amazing but i feel like it’s just an illusion only meant for background buildings and non interactable buildings. So until i can see inside the buildings I’ma keep my expectations tame. Good luck with the release though, looks very promising!
I-I have no words guys… in the demo you’re doing months worth of my work in under a minute, this is insane! Do you mind telling me how’s the whishlist thing on your website works? I mean is it gonna notify me about some kind of demo plugin or about the final release on the marketpalce? Or is it just news? Very excited!
Looks like a really interesting tool that i could probably use in my future games.. I’ve got Simulife (which is like a open-world sandbox game but with the most realistic & most advanced graphics with modding capabilities.) and then there comes Become Fumo: Fumo City (which is basically like the ROBLOX games called Become Fumo but in a GTA inspired gameplay.) Honestly, i could just imagine that this tool would be useful to create the city for Fumo City and even the whole state of Fumoria… Boy…i could just imagine having real life cities & fictional cities in my games of course..
If you expect people to pay for a demo, you are bonkers. Somebody did the exact same thing, except tried to do a version of “Chicago” and was then asking for 20/25 bucks on Steam. The amount of refunds they have had to dish out is ridiculous. Two hundred bucks for NYC (really Manhattan), slapped onto the free UE5 demo? Right… What are they gonna do there – walk around Manhattan?
