The Greek language used in Luke-Acts indicates that the author, believed to be Luke, was one of the most highly educated of the authors of the New Testament. The author’s conscious and intentional references to ancient Classical and Hellenistic Greek authors, such as Homer, Aesop, Epimenides, Euripides, Plato, and Aratus, indicates his familiarity with actual Greek literary texts. This familiarity likely derived from his experiences as a youth of the homogeneous Hellenistic educational curriculum used for centuries throughout the eastern Mediterranean.

  • I love The Outdoor Boys! Luke is a good dude. He lives for his family. He is a nerd & that’s why it works. He isn’t pompous & in a lot of his articles if they are filmed on a Sunday he makes time to go to church with the fam. I’m not religious but it just proves that the guy is real. He knows so much about outdoor life also. I watch his articles everyday. It just makes me happy to watch them. His kids are so funny & his wife is sweet & supportive also a very good water painter. What can you say. He is a lucky guy to have such great people around him. I envious. 😊 pls don’t change Luke. Pls. ❤

  • I watched him my first semester in college while he was a lawyer, and recently, my baby bro was perusal his new articles, and it felt great because the content for kids on YouTube is basically brain-dead so perusal my baby bro perusal him and his family have genuine fun as a loving family made me happy.

  • Those boys are going to grow up solid adults,I love the way he let’s them be boys Some people might look at it differently but man the guy is so close to them .I have to say I’m cynical, always looking for the cracks, and first couple I watched seemed over the top, fake, but kids can’t act at that age,u see how crazy they are about each otherv

  • Luke and his family are perfect depictions of The American Dream Plus. Plus because there’s nothing more wholesome about what he does and how he makes his living. Didn’t have to screw someone over for his riches. Didn’t have to suck up to the bad guys. He just followed his heart and life rewarded him. Quite the role model!

  • I could not comment on the relevant article as comments were turned off. You are a GREAT Dad. I was not the father that you are when my boy was that age. I was busy with career as was mom and camping was not part of our family activities. I have an amazing relationship with my teenage son today but I grieve the missed opportunities when he was younger. God Bless you, your wife and your children. Carl

  • Have been waiting for a negative review of the outdoor boys so I could defend Luke and his family. I stand corrected I’m sorry for clicking on the article in a negative manor. Why I watch the website is just like luke I went through Boy Scouts in California, and can proudly call myself an Eagle Scout. But I’ve actually learned more from luke and his family going on these trips more than my career as a Boy Scout. Love this website and will love the new articles to come.

  • Great article! I love spending time outdoors with my family too. Speaking of outdoor gear, have you ever heard of the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It’s a versatile powerhouse with a massive capacity, powerful output, and fast recharging. Plus, it’s waterproof and has comprehensive protections. Check it out if you’re looking for a reliable backup power solution for your outdoor adventures. Happy camping!

  • I used to really like this website, but now not so much. Ever since he moved back to Alaska the website has got to be very boring, all he does these days is camp in the snow. Shovels snow, gather wood, eat, then shovel more snow, gather wood then eats again. Then he makes up his bed and eats again. Goes to sleep, wakes up eats again then packs up and goes home. It is just getting very boring by perusal the same thing over and over

  • I watch his website once in a while, some adventures are interesting. What I do not like is when a youtuber is afraid of negative remarks so much that they have the comment section turned off. He said youtube did that automatically, that is not true………Luke has comments turned off. He should be open to words of advice or tips his subscribers have. Open to even a bit of criticism where it is needed, but I am sure upwards of 90% would be positive. Be brave, Luke, turn comments on and hear what your community has to say. (Yes, I think he will see this. He will watch a article about himself.)
