I really hate articles like this that claim to be showing you “inside Bill Gates mansion” but don’t actually show you anything other than pictures and clips taken off the internet that anyone can find. When you have an actual full length tour and can actually show us the inside of the house then I’ll be impressed.
Located in Seattle, Washington. …….however the city is going sort of “downhill” as the homeless move in and take over. My wife and I visited for ten days at the beginning of July 2013 for our 20th anniversary. Absolutely perfect weather and gorgeous city. That, of course, was pre-homeless ……. before the TOTAL take-over and now the riots…….so sad!!!
The house is really cool and all, but it would be a little overwhelming for me. All the new technology and large rooms, just seems to much to handle. And having a staff of housekeepers in the house 24/7 just feels uncomfortable for me. The only people I want in my house are me, my family, and friends if they’re visiting.
It’s a beautiful home. It has of ofcourse it’s own private armed security but he also hires Sheriff Officers to patrol the island including a patrol boat for the water front protection. Some areas of the house are off limits to just him & his family. The floors measures your body weight & fen your body temperature so it tracks your every step in the home.
I love the outdoor water system that automatic waters the landscape when they become dry … I would like to purchase that now 😊❣️❣️, Also awesome tech programming system that rooms can adjust to your temperature, and the floors that can detect who is walking throughout the house 🧐🤓🧐🤩 Amazing stuff 😉…Thank you for sharing Bill 🏆Impressive🏆🌟🏆🤩🤩🤩🤓
HE DESREVES IT ALL ! HE IS ONE OF THE MATRYARC OF HISTORY ! HIM AND PAUL ALLEN MADE HISTORY ! AND WE ARE LUCKY HE IS A GOOD MAN! I AM FROM PORTLAND SO I THANK PAUL FOR GIVING US THE TRAIL BLAZERS! TWO AMAZING MEN, THAT BUILT THE COMPUTER WORLD ! BILL AND HIS WIFE GIVE BACK AND THATS COOL. I BET HE COULD SUPPORT THE WHOLE STIMULIS PACKAGE HIM SELF . BILL IS A BOSS LOL.
I’ve always found this a disgusting display and now that I know what him and his wife’s philanthropic endeavors have been up to this should be sold and all the money given to the families of all the children’s parents who lost their lives to his vaccine bs and to the African and Indian farmers who lost their crops and subsequently their lives due to his interference in their farming techniques.
Why would any human being build something like this place? A family of five. Seriously. This says a lot about a person. I don’t care how much money you have, or how much you donate, it is ridiculous. But this opinion comes from just a middle class guy, who has served others his entire life. Take note folks, a bunch of skilled tradesmen made his dream home a reality, not liberal arts professionals. No I am not jealous or envious. I owe very little and live comfortably. I just don’t understand this mindset. But if I had his billions, I believe I would spend it differently. Advice for the youth, learn a trade, not a college degree. The degree almost always guarantees you will be an employee, not employer. And it doesn’t cost as much as a mortgage.
Just imagine all the tax loopholes he’s used to stay rich — offshore bank accounts, etc. No one needs 24 damn bathrooms either! So much technology takes the cozy, homey feeling out of the entire frickin’ house. Greed is NEVER a good quality! When his time is up, all he’ll be surrounded by is the confines of an expensive casket or a, no doubt, technologically-created urn.
he got his money, by pushing out all others while beeing in microsoft and grabbing everything he could. Such people may say, its own money, but the way is always not so fair-. PS: Why he had used so old trees for wood. Its not sustainable, as like they all act not sustainable. I have no problem, if people have such things, but i also see the other things then and thats what made me angry, not that they are rich.
IF I HAD THAT KIND OF MONEY MY HOME WOULD NOT BE THAT CLOSE TO WATER AND IT WOULD BE A VERY LARGE DOME HOME WHICH IS WEATHER SAFE AND FOR WATER IT WOULD BE A POOL. BUT TOTALLY NOT THAT BIG, AND BUILD LARGE DOMES FOR PEOPLE TO GET IN FOR BAD WEATHER DOMES WILL PROTECT YOU FROM A HURRICANE UP TO 450 MPH, AND NOT BUILT WHERE FLOODS WOULD TAKE YOU OUT, AND TOTALLY COMPLETE WITH EVERYTHING THEY WOULD NEED!! AND THAT WOULD BE BE GREAT TO DO
No one back home Is allowed to wash their clothes. All done by dry cleaning service. You have 2 bags which you hang on your outside door. Return to suite or return to store. Many of the extravagant dresses are returned to the store. I have always said “I wont stop you from holding on to a dress” .. it takes some time but many start to realize they don’t have room in their closet to keep… if someone remembers another wearing the dress, they can have alters made to change it, or wear it new for the first time if they don’t. Very simple and very extravagant.
Interesting gow things age with time. At one point this house was a wow thing. Now look at that. An ordinary high end property. Look at old luxury cars in junk yards for instance. Indeed a man better let the money pass through him and funnel the excess money to sharing with the needy. Afterlife is more important
I’m a poor anime innovated fan of Bill Gates opportunity has not led me into a dream such as he lives only God and prayer hopefully will one day did you imagine how my kids will be the memories oh man I think if that happened Id changed their future I do the greatest dad in the world and a greatest son to my mom and dad would be proud of me that would make me more happy than anything
With this guy, philanthropy is a business like any other, with his personal goals and all those tax deductions. He doesn’t give a $1 unless he earns more to build his image and fortune. Everything he says, does, owns, wears, and drives screams, look at me. No wonder his wife left him after confessing, “It’s not easy living with Bill Gates.” Who’s his girlfriend now? Please don’t expect an answer from me. It would hurt his carefully crafted image. Certainly, he does get bored with it all, choosing more global properties, jets, and yachts to get away from it all. He is so close to being satisfied that it’s always beyond his reach.
