  • Me too. Got the book by Lehodey. Very helpful to listen to this and also read book. I find that I need to listen to Father Ripperger lessons over and over for a few days to absorb slowly so I can retain information. It’s like a season of time to learn one thing before I move onto another. I find myself spiritually hungry but I feel I need to slow down a bit. Like a fine dining experience. It’s helpful

  • I never understood why people just want to stop at not doing mortal sins and forego sanctity. I mean, staying out of mortal sin is really hard and on its own it is more a torture than anything else. It only gets easier and in fact joyful as you advance in the spiritual life. If you think about it, it’s insane and painful to just stick to the periphery of spiritual life and not go any further.
