Using The Ffxiv Interior Housing Menu?

The Housing Menu in Final Fantasy XIV: Online Housing is a crucial tool for players to customize their house. It offers a variety of options, each with different uses. The starting point for most house owners is the Remodel menu, which allows players to change structural elements like wallpaper, flooring, and lighting. All items used in this menu are single-use only.

The Housing Menu can be accessed through Social > Housing, where players can preview various furnishings and their uses. Indoor Furnishing is the main area of focus, as it changes the House of Units (HUD) and provides access to a unique Layout Mode. To access the storeroom, players can open the indoor or outdoor furnishings menu and select Preview Indoor Furnishings. This will display a list of housing items organized by category.

To create housing glitches, players can use the game’s features, such as subcommand menus and keybinds. To preview any furniture item in the game, use the Preview option in the Housing menu. To access the storeroom, open the indoor or outdoor furnishings menu and switch between furnishing items and storeroom.

To build an estate hall, players can head to the Social menu and select the ‘Housing’ drop-down option. From there, they can choose the type of building they want and purchase a permit for it. The Housing Menu is a valuable resource for those new to decorating in FFXIV.

  • Hi, house buyers! Just here to suggest that you keep an eye on the market board for the housing permits! I managed to buy my medium housing permit at lower than HALF of the price from someone reselling their permit! They sold theirs at 420,000 gil— I basically bought a medium permit for the price of a small! Great way to save money! Just make sure to not buy permits that are overpriced!

  • First you save at least 3.5 million gil for a small house. Second Win the housing lottery. Third- pay attention to your e-mails because you will always get a demolition notice. 4th- in distant corners can find a small house across from a market board with it’s own summoning bell they are few and far between.

  • So…. – Need to spend millions to get something decent – 450k to get a permit, loads of gil to decorate, etc – Risk of losing it all, and you’ll have to start over – And even if you have the money, it can take ages to get a house due to that absolutely retarded lottery system And I didn’t hear you mention any benfits to it. Is there any at all? Thanks for the article, but when it comes to housing, it seems to simply be a waste of gil and time.

  • Huge part that’s missing has to scour the internet for this missing part of the puzzle: The #1 rule of Storage Placement is make SURE it’s in your Storage and you have Display Preview enabled. You will be unable to pick up and move the furnishing if Display Preview is disabled by accident. If you’re placing from Inventory, your furnishing will end up in Storage once you use your subcommand to place, and you’ll wonder what’s happening. Your welcome.

  • Since I never played this game with a controller I have no idea what you mean with the keybind for PC users. ^^’ I really wanna be able to place windows like this because I am sick of using a stage panel close the wall-trick… ^^’ I saw you using it with other things too. Can you recommend a guide by any chance? :3
