  • Great article. I’ve never understood why fridge designers in particular make their fridges 25% deeper than standard cabinetry. I’d rather have a standard depth fridge that comes in a variety of standard widths so you can integrate it with standard cabinets easily. I can never get to all the stuff at the back of the fridge anyway. And my wife is 5’2″ so we don’t even have upper cabinets. Which I really like. And in my next kitchen, I’ll never install anything other than drawers.
