Locating The Interior Trim Code On An Audi?

The interior color code for interior leather seats, dash, and doors is found on a label in the boot and manual. The two-character code after the slash is the color code for the whole interior, but there are different interior codes for various seat color options available with each car. Audi leather dye colors are matched to the Audi OEM color and bear the manufacturers color name.

If you don’t know the color, look for the code INT TR, INT, or even just I for interior paint. Each car manufactured will have its own code and numbers for its paint. For example, the interior code for an Audi A2 is N0E/YA, which is a dark grey carpet. Parts with interior colors have a code at the end of the part number like -J0 or -K0, such as seat belts or front door panels.

To find the interior trim code, check inside the spare tire wheel well in the trunk area. Often, a white sticker containing various codes, including both trim and paint codes, is affixed here. The interior color code is on a label in the boot and in the manual. A simple phone call to any Audi parts desk can get you a quick answer using your VIN.

In case you need to trim out a small 1cm square, the interior trim code usually ends with an “I” and is on the bottom row of all “GM common option codes”. The exterior paint code is next. The interior code will be on your data sticker in your spare wheel well or inside the cover in your service book. Look for the option code sheet in the trunk, by the spare tire (assuming ’15+ here). Search online for the code translations.
