In Sweet Home 3D, you can add grass areas to your project by switching to a 2D view and selecting “Exterior” in the Floor plan tab. This will allow you to add landscaping elements outside the house and create “rooms” filled with grass. The “scenery” in Sweet Home 3D is made of grey ground and a variety of grasses, including ornamental grasses. To create a dynamic landscape, mix different textures by mixing different sizes and shapes. Pair firm grasses like fountain grass with softer, firm grasses like fountain grass.
To create a room creation tool, draw a polygon with many points that match your grass path. Modify the floor texture of the fake room and import your texture image in the texture modification dialog box if needed. Proceed to build your model on top of the new sloping ground as normal.
