  • TIP: Unplug your Rug Doctor. Get something pointy and sturdy…I used a flat-head screwdriver. I poked around the brush, in the corners and got a lot of hair and solid gunk out. I then removed the top part, trying to get to the filter. Was unsuccessful, but when I reattached the top part and turned it on, the brush started to work. Hope this helps!
