I put that much dawn in 3 gallons of water. after you have cleaned 3 windows your mop will be embedded with dirt and/or your bucket water will be contaminated with window dirt after rinsing your mop. whether you have super soap concentrate on your mop or a lighter concentration the dirt is still there. if you drip a higher of lesser soap concentrated water the same amount of dirt will still be in those drips and on the customers carpets. just use less water on the mop so you don’t drip, that’s the main point I see your trying to communicate.

Why don’t you hold the applicator under the squeegee? But since you’re doing a c.c.u. Use a painters drop cloth or tarp under the window. If anything use no more than two drops on each side of the applicator. Because under the summer sun. That dosage will fry the solution directly on the glass. Leaving noticable marks unless you use the two handed method.
you can take 10 different pro crews with life-time customers that have no complaints and they will all have a different take on this….i like some of his ideas but i do it way different. He’s gonna be pegged as a control freak but i talk to my young crews the same way cause they dont pay attention and then go screw up inside the house making the boss look like its amateur hour. I have a better article just pay attention instead of thinking everythings fine. Ego as a window cleaner is your worst enemy. Do what you’re paid for, extra soap helps but its dependent on ur situation. Just learn by observation ur jobs ez stop being in ur head and saying this is what they paid for sometimes more soap even on the interior is bad. How? Well yea outside is hot but say u use a stack ladder, do you wana set a 6pc up in someone’s house twice cuz the temp difference from floor to ceiling is insane. When doing things that arent walk up overcast days if your that unconfident have a small squirt bottle eith soapy water in ur tool belt or even just soap and pay attention. Soap is helpful for alot including smoking homes especially with dawn Platinum or sometimes ammonia. Thats can be bad for tint but im getting ahead of myself soap isnt the issue with drips its thinking that u need a sopping wet mop. Everything is situational. If u have a normal ranch and ehat u do is fine do it just yave a nearby source of water, the interior vof a home has faucets but sometimes u have snow bird homes etc so thats not an option. Have a regular water bucket normal soap, use an old dawn bottle with more soap. Anything can always be added but not subtracted. Thinking about the issue requires more overall attention than just having common sense. Just dont run up in a 1m$ home with a boab full of water yo its available especially since ur a window cleaner.

Screw all that especially using dawn. My company uses T.S.P., we’ve been using since the company started in 1960. We use real sponges to wipe the squeegee and catch drips from the mop. We always use rugs and sheets doing inside work. My water can look like a chocolate milkshake and still my windows will shine just as much as fresh water.
