How To Go Into Villa Oasis In Marrakech?

Four Seasons Resort Marrakech is offering small tours through the Villa Oasis, the private residence acquired by Yves Saint Laurent. The pristine, red-tinted concrete paths will be used by hundreds of thousands of curious visitors, as opposed to dozens of dozens. The villa is surrounded by verdant gardens full of cacti, coconut palms, giant agaves, jasmine, and bright pink bougainvillaea. Its interiors are just as impressive with their bold colors and architectural details.

Guests can arrange a special trip into the house upon request from the concierge before their stay. Inside the house, guests can admire colorful mosaic tiles, a library with hand-painted cedarwood panels and ornately carved ceilings, leopard-printed sofas, and brightly colored interiors. The home is both an architectural masterpiece and an intimate tribute to the designer and Bergé.

To visit the Villa Oasis, guests can reserve a private visit, which is available by appointment only and donations to the YSL-Bergé Foundation. In 1980, the owners learned that the nearby Jardin Majorelle was threatened by a real-estate development project and decided to acquire the garden and adjoining villa.

To reach the Villa Oasis, guests can take a taxi at Bab El Ksour or hire one of our drivers. The Majorelle Gardens are about 10 minutes drive from El Fenn, and the villa is hidden within the hustle of urban Marrakech.

  • This was a great “peek” of the immortal journey they had. But what picked my interest more is the naming of their arts, their corridors etc… like Minzah, Minzah means a place for Nozha. Nozha means the activity to go somewhere a bit far, calm to enjoy what that place has to offer with family or friends. (Correct me if I am mistaken). So yeah I would love to understand !

  • This is what I call there are people who have money and there are people who are RICH RICH MEANS GOD GAVE US EYES TO SEE HIS ETERNAL MESMERISING BEAUTY IN NATURE AND HEART TO SEE BEAUTY IN EACH OTHER AND HE GAVE US AN IMAGINATION .IMAGINATION IS THE BEGINNING OF CREATION, WE IMAGINE WHAT WE DESIRE, WE WILL WHAT WE IMAGINE,AND AT LAST WE CREATE WHAT WE WILL WITH GOD’S PERMISSION AND BLESSING OF COURSE .= RESULT = OUTDOOR,MASTERPIECE,ART WORK, LIVING BACKYARD,PARADISE OASIS ❤. Truly, truly Imagination is my only weapon in the war against reality. Reality isn’t as pleasant as it’s shown in the movies – rapes, terrorism, poverty, illness, child abuse, global warming, wars- the world is broken. But with the power of imagination, we can create solutions to all problems and make a difference. love from a beautiful timeless bellicima lady full of class and elegance and grace and finesse ❤ Many thanks ❤️⭐️✨🌟❤️.
