  • i have tried emboss the cake with grapes and vines set – the smaller design. the cake was about 24h in the fridge and then i cover it with fondant (about 4 mm thick) with no problem. before i started emboss the cake, i tested it on fondant leftovers and design worked great. but when i emboss the cake, the design did not emboss well and when i pushed bit harder on embosser it cut fondant trough with outlines and the design in the middle was barely visible. i think it happened because the cake was very soft. is there any tip how to avoid that?
