When hanging outdoor curtains, use an outdoor-rated curtain rod as they extend quite far.

Designers consider curtains a necessity for Mediterranean beach getaways and can create a flowy look on porches or pergolas. Measure and mark the mounting location using a tape measure. Another option is hanging a swing arm rod on the wall above the door, allowing the curtains to swing out of the way.

Tension rods or magnetic curtain rods are alternative methods for hanging curtains on fiberglass doors without drilling. These options offer a hassle-free and non-permanent way to add style and functionality. Tension rods are ideal for hanging lightweight curtains without installation issues.

There are four tried and tested no-drill options for hanging curtains: DIY tie-up curtains, chain link fencing, and chain link fencing. DIY outdoor curtain rods can be made inexpensively using net curtain wire between the gap and threading the curtain onto the wire.

By using appropriate mounting surfaces, measuring door dimensions, and using tension rods or magnetic curtain rods, you can create a visually appealing and functional outdoor space.

  • How could I switch from the track hardware to either a larger track hardware or the carabiners? The track hardware that came with my gazebo that is installed is horrible. Also, there is no space between the track itself to loop the carabiners around. The hooks I have are tiny hooks that the curtains are always coming off of. Is there an easy way to switch these out?
