I’ve gapped the spark plug and tested it for spark, and I’ve put fresh fuel in with the correct fuel to oil ratio. The thing will not start. It’s practically brand new. I think my dad must have run it on straight petrol and worn out the engine.
I have one like this and it also wouldn’t start last year. I am not a fan of this machine. In my opinion it is way too powerful as a weed whacker. If I get it too close to my vinyl siding it will tear the crap out of it. I know people will say, “well, don’t let it get close”. Sometimes it isn’t that easy. So, I just gave up on it and I will get a cheap electric on.
