Red interiors are classic and can make a car more desirable when resold. The 1957 BMW 507 and the old 1950s Porsche Speedster had red interior options. The author has a 2014 GTS with red interior with 85,000 km on it, and the leather seats and vinyl door lining do wear and age well. The author is a fan of the red interior, which they call “coral”, and it certainly makes a white car look more interesting.

Paint durability varies among paints, with red paint fading the fastest and white maintaining the longest durability. This is due to the fact that red paint reflects red light and absorbs blue light, which has the most energy to cause damage. Other factors contributing to paint damage include dust, dirt, grime, bug splatters, salt, animal products, and road contaminants. These elements weaken the clear coat surface, causing UV light wear and accelerating the wear from UV light.

Preventive measures to protect car paint include regular washing and waxing. Regular washing removes dirt and contaminants that can cause oxidation, while applying high-quality wax provides a protective barrier against UV rays. • I didn’t even know you could dye the interior red wtfff… but anyways love the articles bro you liked my insta story today shit had me geeked🤣 you help me keep going with my 335i build. I bought the car from auction listed with a trans issue for dumb cheap 2400 fully optioned black 09 e93 335i with the og 5 spoke 19s wasn’t gonna waste my time looking into trans issue and I got a steal a 80k mile 6hp from a stock car for 700 off my friend, original trans clearly you could tell it was bad solenoids maybe something worse but whatever body has 130k. Swapped trans in and after a week I started getting limp mode at WOT turned out bad wastegate who woulda known 💀. So after driving around a 328i around for 2 months turbo seals went I lost my mind. So now I got this steam powered 328i blowing smoke down the road I started looking into turbo kits I could actually afford and only thing in reality to keep the build at a minimum so I’m still making 100 percent profit 🤫when I sell it was 19ts. I’ve tackled everything on this car all gaskets, upgraded coil packs, 2 step colder plugs, xs power charge pipe and bov, VRSF downpipe fmic catch can, All maintenance etcccc. A week after swapping in the 19ts this car is fucking unreal with how scary fast it is with what I made happen with 5500 total that’s including what I bought it for 🤣. But yk the one fucking thing I didn’t replace the only thing da water pump. So yea after a week of new swap I’m cruising down the road otw to work and I realized my car warmed up way quicker than usual and yep water pump failed also to note 3 days before it failed it was running full blast no matter what and wouldn’t hit a actual operating temps till 15 min after driving even if I let it warm up idling for 20 minutes.

  • Nice article that red is a very good look …just an FYI most people with Q50 think they have a premium, fact is they have a base model with navigation, which has “faux leather” seats …ALL premium model Q50’s have real leather seats, premium seats have preforated holes in the seats like the sport seats they just dont have the leg support like the sport model. Thats how you know if you have a premium or not, also cameras in side mirrors & front grille
