Mount shelves by anchoring them to the wall or along the sides of upper cabinets framing your window, blocking a bad view without obscuring too much light. Invest in stools in various shapes, colors, and styles, and make a statement with seating that makes a statement. Ensure that you enjoy sitting on the stools while enjoying your morning coffee, dinner, or gathering with family and friends around the kitchen island.

How to decorate a dull kitchen?

To brighten a dark kitchen, consider using shiny surfaces like cabinet handles, taps, light fittings, and appliances with a shiny metal finish. Gloss cabinets and worktops made from quartz, granite, or marble can also make the space feel lighter. Mirrors can be used as a splashback behind a sink or hob, or strategically placed opposite a window to reflect more light. For example, the bespoke mirrored extractor housing in this kitchen keeps the space light and airy while using darker tones in fumed oak cabinetry and porcelain worktops.

  • Love it. I bought a 15 x 21 wood cutting board from Walmart and four 6 inch wood table legs from Lowe’s to make a bed table. I’m having surgery on my left side and my night stand is on the left side of the bed. I needed something to use on the right so I put this together with a clip cup holder. It turned out really nice. I can use it in the future to make small crafts while sitting on my bed or with my laptop.

  • 😘In the article I used silicone molds. You can find them here: art-prosvet.ru/catalog/bordjury/mold-kulinarnyj-busy-2_artmd0311/ art-prosvet.ru/catalog/?q=%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%8F art-prosvet.ru/catalog/ornamenty/mold-venzel-12_artmd0358/ art-prosvet.ru/catalog/ornamenty/mold-nabor-venzelej-4-malyj_artmd0369/

  • Started perusal this because well, i love jars, its unreasonable I know but…i watch a lot of these. Most of them use materials only carpenters or plumbers have in their homes so, you have to just figure out what to use instead of wallpaper paste. I seriously..did not know you could do that with air dry clay, thank you for teaching this old dog a new trick! Your share was deeply apritiates and if I might say, very well done. Bravo, and thank you again!

  • Suggestion, it be more robust if you used oven baked polymer clay as the air dry clay would be distroyed the first time you wash it or if it gets wet. Ive played with both materials and the air dry craft clay and paper clay thats found in craft stores is easier to work with but the moment it was exposed to any moisture all my hard work was distroyed. The oven bake polymer clay just needs to be hand worked more and it will soften plus the use of a pasta rolling machine that are very cheap on line will make light work of making the clay in to thiner workable sheets to replace the cardboard disks on the lid and the stand and so you can use cake making decorations presses to mould all sorts of shapes that once again are dirt cheap on line. The only flaw with the polymer clay is that if its reheated, it will soften if you are making thin stands, make it thicker. Oh and dont put it in a dish washer or have it outside in direct sun in the heat of the austrailan summer sun as it has softened peices ive made in the past . if your make anything structural like the base on this, use a few layers glued together bits of a plastic milk jug as the base to add more stabilty, forget the cardbord used in this and make thicker polymer clay ornamental peices to give it extra suport if you plan to have it outdoors in direct sun or anywhere it may get hot and hand wash it instead of putting it in the dish washer as it may lose its shape . To use air dry clay of any sort and cardboard would not servive even being hand washed as made in this article.
