  • Do not eat Easter eggs decorated with anything you wouldn’t eat. Including: paint (acrylic or otherwise), sharpies, shaving cream (use whipped cream), hot glue, nail polish etc. If you’re not supposed to eat it and you decorate your eggs with it, you’re still not supposed to eat it. Tin foil techniques probably okay. Also if you’re going to leave hard-boiled eggs out of fridge for more than two hours, keep it on ice until you eat. If you drop Easter egg on the ground and it cracks, it’s dirty just like any other food dropped on the ground. Use discretion. Eggshells are porous which is why egg inside soaks in colors from food coloring dye.
