I am 59 years old and I live in Russia. And although I know that I will never have such a house, but still I subscribed to your articles and admire such beautiful houses with pleasure. I sincerely rejoice that someone will live in such splendor. I wish the future owners of this house family happiness and prosperity in everything, and I wish the builders of such houses great success in their work.
I admire beautiful homes. I marvel at the workmanship. I’ve lived in different homes, some big some small. And it’s nice. But no matter where you live, the most difficult part is to live with yourself. One can be equally as happy in a tiny home as in a mansion, but must be contented and happy within to be able to truly enjoy any one of them
I can’t begin to explain how much I love the floors! About 5 years ago we bought our first house, a fixer upper. My boyfriend worked for a hardwood flooring company and was given all the left over boxes of wood from a bunch of diff jobs, it was beautiful wide plank oak, but it was all diff stains. We weren’t sure how long it would be until we could strip and stain the floors so we just staggered them all over and it looks just like this floors! There is not one day that goes by that I don’t regret it lol we still haven’t stained the floors
It’s rare that I like just about EVERYTHING about a house. First, it’s big enough, need all 5 of those bedrooms. Yet still includes a theater and gameroom. Separate dining room and open space living room, nice kitchen with island. Somehow I’m sure it offers an attached garage, possibly 3 maybe 4 car. I would consider purchasing this house, furnished with only a few adjustments, among the finalists and its the first one! Haven’t toured a house in a long time…thank you for sharing.
Wonderful article and stunning staging. It must cost a fortune to stage a bouse with so much beige and neutrals! I like colour though I appreciated the touch of nautical with the whales. No space for my knitting patterns or wool hoard despite all that space. What would be your tip for staging an old cosy house with a less cohesive colour scheme? Should you strip out you before putting a house on the market?
There are many individual elements in this house to love and a few questionable choices. Like a mirrored backsplash in a kitchen? Behind a gas cooktop? It is beautiful, and I guess that if you can afford a 5b/4.5b home, you have someone else to clean that backsplash every time you use your kitchen. Or maybe you never use your kitchen and eat out/order delivery all of the time. Not a fan of the variegated flooring that distracts from the beautiful furnishings. The lighting is great. I have a closet with a slanted ceiling. Hate it. I understand the appeal of a monochromatic scheme in a showcase house, but it is really boring in such a large space. Sorry, wish I loved everything like so many below. Just being real.
The mirrored backsplash behind the range is a bad idea. All those individual panes are going to get spattered and have to be cleaned constantly. The tight space between the bottom of the stairs and the opposite wall is an invitation to a banged up post and nicked sheet rock – and the frustration that goes with it.
Full built in top with twice the bath and room five room safety step with pull and push again with bottom bath and living pushed into a pulled living and bath side door with company entrance cooking and table siding with company entrance side arch to living in side page arched bath mailbox side chair with gate large wired back yard vented garage with mower door shade covering with lock
I already live in mansions . It was a wonderful journey. Now I am older an my kids are grown. Good luck to people who want to someday move in a mansion. U must have a real life to move in these homes. U must be a professional or have your own business. Me an my had a used car dealership. An a mechanic business as well. I really enjoy myself threw out the years. But this is a nice home. There are thousands of mansions out there people just pick the right .
Feels tacky ..kinda like walking into a Walmart commercially produced overly done tacky interior decor aisle .. home 🏡 devoid of personality and Feels cold to live in … pallette is neither modern nor old ..Feels like being scared bring any one thing, so it is everything .. matte black accessories very tacky
Sooo beautiful rich 👀 looking scene’s of scenery shown of the outside of the house a beauty made of brick; and the inside building’s of the house made of beautiful luxury’s in each room and or area of the house is BEAUTIFULNESS shown for beautiful and or rich person/s to pick and or choose to buy to enjoy and or relax in for peaceful and or happiness of beautiful memorable times.👌↗So beautiful; I’m not 👀 looking to buy, I’m just 👀 looking, and often care to make comment/s about my 👀see.↗☺
I like neutral colors, but you really need something with Color in there. Living room and Kitchen are wayyyyy too close together Formal dinning room Nahhhh not for me at all, too busy. Lawd i need an elevator, I’d die going up all them steps……oxygen please!!!!!!! Well you did a good job filming 😉 Shhhh tell the decorator low key a lil more🤭
Still way too much Grey!!!! We need color in our lives!!! I actually thought at one point you started filming in black and white film. Mirrored Kitchen Backsplash in the kitchen??? Maybe in a bathroom stall but Kitchen??? No, did not like that. Also, what is with all the Master bedrooms being featured on the main floor and cheap or no more fire mantels??? Yes is it new and shiny but I live in a small Chateau and I just don’t like the new modern, souless, open concept, color schemes of this new generation. With that said, I am sure this home will be a beautiful blessing to a sweet family.
Well sorry about that I guess I didn’t watch it long enough to see it, which that’s awesome that you do have a dining room in there, but I do not understand why you designers put a kitchen in the freaking living room there’s no privacy I love going into my kitchen with my friends and just being separate from everybody and everything else, and when I’m in the living room I don’t want to hear kitchen noise I don’t understand why anybody would want this, my friend bought a new house with the open concept it’s beautiful but she hates it now she wants a wall between the living room and the kitchen
