I took your advice on the air source heat pump route. Replacing the electric heater 3kw with the Vian S7 heat pump which I purchased through you. Typically I am running at around 3.0 to 3.5 kwhrs per day (includes for heat pump and circ pumps etc) so at even 27 pence per kwhr it is costing no more than 90 pence per day to run. This is probably about a third of my previous costs using the 3kw heater. I was concerned that we may not be able to achieve the upper temperatures (to please the wife) but this winter we had no problem reaching 40 degrees C (104 F) so we were very pleased with the outcome. The instal of the heat pump has been a significant benefit making the use of the hot tub affordable.
