  1. Turn up the heat in your car: This can help evaporate moisture faster by utilizing the laws of thermodynamics.

To clean exterior glass, use a clay bar to remove contaminants trapped on top and in the micro-pores of the glass. Distilled white vinegar is a good home remedy for faint water marks, but for deep water mark etchings, the Glass Science Glass Scrub is recommended. This cream glass polish dissolves mineral deposits and removes light etchings, sap, and road grime. Applying the Glass Scrub to a wet surface after washing and before drying is recommended.

Apply a dime-sized drop to a wet foam applicator and buff it in with medium pressure in a circular motion. Use more product as needed, but avoid excessive use as the Glass Scrub needs to be thoroughly rinsed off.

After cleaning and clearing the glass, protect it with a sealant to help moisture form small beads that roll off easily. Glass-specific protectants like Glass Science Rain Clear or paint-based sealants can be used to protect the glass, repel moisture, and make driving easier regardless of the weather. Rain Clear is a gel-based formula that needs to be applied thin and buffed off with medium pressure and a clean microfiber towel.

  • I have had a Invisible Glass one for two years now and love it! I use the included microfiber for initial wipe and just drape my rag company glass waffle weave over the head and clean up. Works like a charm every time and don’t have to change heads. Thanks for another great article! Wow and I appreciate the really fast shipping on my MJJC foam cannon!

  • I just used the invisible glass tool and it is the best way to clean my windshield and my rear window of my 2023 Camry. The rear window has a very tight angle that made it very difficult to clean. Using the invisible glass tool made it simple and fast. Also, using just plain water to clean my windows is without a doubt the best way to keep glass clean and leaving no streaks.

  • Appreciate the reviews. I don’t feel they were totally accurate as you were using water. I bought the invisible glass combo, when using their glass cleaner the applicator doesn’t get saturated. When I received mine today I did two windshields and the pad didn’t get saturated. The invisible glass combo works great..

  • Autofiber sells the flip towels separately as well. I already own the Invisible Glass tool so, I just bought the Autofiber flip towels by themselves use that with the other tools. To be fair, you could use the flip towels with any of the other tools and get great results that way. Some might require a velcro tape, but the foam on the Invisible Glass tool holds it fine for me.

  • Microfiber this microfiber that.. I ditched microfiber years ago and have never looked back.. microfiber is strictly a marketing splooge for money.. they all lint.. no need to pay $30 and above for a lint experience.. floursack towels are a whole different galaxy and so superior in every way.. lol.. but keep using those overpriced lint spreaders.
