The Bentley Continental GT Convertible is a luxurious two-door SUV with an interior design tailored to the modern luxury customer. It features cutting-edge onboard technology, a 12.3-inch central display, and a configurable home screen that can be split up to show interior, comfort, and cargo. The interior is swathed in aromatic leather and fine wood, making it techier and better made than an Aston DB11’s and more opulent than a Ferrari Portofino’s. Bentley’s GT range finally has the up-to-date interior it’s long needed.
The base stereo is a 10-speaker, 650 watt setup by Bentley itself. The interior layout, fit, and finish are impressive, with a limitless amount of headroom thanks to a z-fold fabric. The convertible’s structure minimizes rear legroom, making it a kid zone. The interior is like a drawing room in Buckingham Palace, with an Alcantara steering wheel, Speed insignia on the passenger fascia, and unique color.
The Continental GT Convertible is the world’s fastest four-seat soft-top and thanks to Bentley’s craftsmanship, the most luxurious too. The convertible features Bentley’s seven-bow fabric roof system, available in a range of seven exterior colors (including Tweed) and deployable in 19 seconds.

The Bentley Continental GT Convertible is the world’s fastest four-seat soft-top, boasting a top speed of 203mph in Speed trim. However, Bentley’s attention to detail sets the Continental GT Convertible apart, with a beautifully crafted interior that is both visually appealing and comfortable to sit in. Despite its massive weight of 2. 5 tonnes, the car is surprisingly rewarding to drive, especially in V8 S mode.
What is different about a hard top convertible?
Hardtop convertibles provide a secure and enclosed driving experience with a solid roof, providing better insulation against noise, weather elements, and potential break-ins. They offer better handling and stability, especially during aggressive maneuvers, and can switch between closed-roof coupe and open-top convertible modes. However, hardtops come with complex mechanical systems, increased weight, and limited cargo capacity. The process of raising and lowering the roof is slower compared to soft tops, and the additional weight can affect the car’s overall performance and fuel efficiency.
Hardtops also occupy a significant portion of the trunk space when folded, limiting cargo capacity. The choice between a hardtop and soft-top convertible depends on personal preferences, driving style, and priorities. Soft tops may be ideal for simplicity, affordability, and a nostalgic driving experience, while hardtop convertibles offer safety, versatility, and open-air enjoyment. Owning a convertible allows for a memorable journey with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face.

Bentley, my all time dream car.Ageless in design keeping flowing lines. One draw back, this goes for all car manufacturers. Where do they place the sat navigation?. Somewhere below eye sight on the dash.Meaning you have to take your eyes off of the road to look at it. Solution, simple a sat navigation at a push of a button pops out of the top of the dash.Meaning that you can keep your eyes on the road. But you can see the sat nat without dropping your eyes. Safety first in all cases. Having said that that’s my only gripe. Beautiful in all other respects. Oh, and a V12 definitely with a nice sounding exhaust that says, yep this car has power to match. Now all I need to do is win the lottery 😩.
Like Rolls-Royce, Bentley seem to be getting more and more gawdy, why? The front looks like a chrome plated fowl pen it’s got so much mesh. Come on Bentley, get back to your roots of building supreme, understated vehicles that reflect the brands sporting heritage. If you think this new style of car is customer driven, think again, all I can see ahead is fewer and fewer customers other than the odd blinged up hip hop DJ! Personally, I think this misses the mark for a Bentley by a country mile.
