Which Color Mustangs’ Interiors Were Green?

The first Green Mustang was introduced in 1964, with three shades: Pagoda Green, Dynasty Green, and Cascade Green. Top Flight Automotive offers a comprehensive chart of every Mustang color and model year, including exterior and interior options. The 1965 Mustang was the only green color available until 1991, with the special edition Deep Emerald Green on the 1990 7-Up Mustang. The Green Mustang has been a popular choice for Mustangs over the years, ranging from Grabber Green to Highland Green and being popular on front seats and door panels.

Ivy Gold interiors, including the 69 Dark Ivy Gold, are considered some of the most beautiful colors on a Mustang. The Fastback Green with silver stripes is a popular choice, with silver jade and anti-establish mint poly. The Green with brown rust coloration is a nice color, but it doesn’t quite match the Highland Green color on the Bullitt. Garbone’s Avatar is another popular green color, with Eruption Green being the last available in the 2023 model year. Seafoam Green is a favorite, with strong greyish tones in bright sunlight at night.

  • I currently own a 2020 EcoBoost Premium convertible in Rapid Red. We named the car “Sister Ruby” because of the color and because I mainly only drive it on Sundays! It’s absolutely gorgeous and I love it. If I were going to do a refresh with a 2024 model, it would either be the same color or Yellow Splash, which just screams “LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!” 🌞 I LOVE bright colors, and although I have never owned a yellow car, I do own a 2009 Avalanche LTZ 4WD (“Crusher”) in Inferno Orange and I will own it until the wheels fall off… and then I’ll get new wheels for it! I also own a 2012 Harley CVO Street Glide (“HoneyBadger”) in “Hot Citrus and Antique Gunstock”, and every time I ride it I get lots of looks and comments about how pretty it is. Hot Citrus is a strikingly bright yellow-orange with about 6 different colors of metalflake in it, and to this day I think it’s the single best color the MoCo has ever offered on any Harley. It looks as if it’s lit from within on sunny days! I wish the 2024 Mustang was going to be offered in some kind of bright orange metallic, because if it was I’d order it on DAY 1. But, the Yellow Splash might do the trick. Now, what to NAME it? “Sunshine”? “SpongeBob”? 😂

  • A full track special would be insane. Unfortunately my only V8 time was driving mum and dads kingswood sl . Which I smashed the door in doing circle work at the farm one day while they where away holidaying I got it fixed only the door was fucked thank god. It was that shitty brown factory coloured one. They sold the car six months later. 2 the same dealership they brought it of. I must say I was a little concerned they would pick up on the crap spray job up the side I was 14 had a set of keys cut big mistake. Then 20 years after I brought a new Nissan 200 sx from the same joint😂

  • I had a 2021 GT Premium with a manual MT82 transmission. Complete garbage! I could put up with the hard plastic interior, engine tick and the glitchy electronics, but the drive train was garbage. Kept the GT for 2 months and unloaded it….was a pile of junk. Bought a real car from another manufacturer with a standard TREMEC couldn’t be happier…FU FORD! BTW – if you did buy this POS with a MT82 you can join the class action suit!

  • Once again Ford is going to suck up the Mopar customers all I was being Mopar customer I never stopped being a Ford customer GM better get their minds right the CEO of all the Mopar brands better fire the CEO of Dodge cuz Dodge is going to lose some money with this continuing the Challenger and the charger Hellcat and Scat packs. But again I don’t see Dodge letting forward take all the money that’s got to be some big plan that’s going to come out and say haha you thought we were gone so I’m waiting for that to come from Dodge
