I have just moved into a small house and have had to get rid of a lot of furniture. However, I have purchased rather a large corner sofa for my small lounge. (You would think that smaller, lighter furniture would look better) It works because I have limited the number of furniture items in my small lounge to only the sofa, one mid century armchair, a glass top coffee table and a long, low side board for the TV and storage. The room feels really cosy – like an English “snug” – especially at night, which is mainly when we use it.
I applied all of these ideas recently creamy white walls,doors,trim and ceiling; matched with my solid bench seat sofa in the process of installing all engineered flooring throughout exception entry-way and bathroom.
