Sooo fun, Rebecca!!! I must be doing something right – I have your bedroom lamps in my living room and one in my bedroom. I really like your presentation of glam and would say I am understated glam. I have touches in every room even my laundry room😲 Thank you so much for your articles! I am never disappointed! 😊
I love it! Although, I add some Asian antiques and interesting antique lamps here and there. I love a touch of black in every room that picks up the mood of my small grand piano. I’m surprised that you don’t seem to have drapes in your bedroom to soften it. Doesn’t the sunlight wake you? Still, with your energy, maybe you wake the sun! 😎 Thanks for this wonderful article. p.s. Loved your outfit! Very elegant.
REBECCA!!!! That wall lighting that you created in the condo bedroom is one of the most sophisticated, elegant and alluring fixture EVER!!!!! I want!!!!!!! You do such a beautiful job, I have watched you for years and have done three homes now…. You have helped me tremendously!!!!! Love love love that light!!!!!!

Karen here wowza wowza you’re bedroom is stunning. I love CA coastal all off white, pale powder baby blue modern chair, crystal lamps, chandelier, white headboard, soft light white curtains some acqua who knows. Building in a few months. Not sure. Coastal with Glame touches. Love your satin quilt, but no black for me. No grey. Ill see.
(*DESIGN SESSIONS MEMBER*) And LONG TIME YouTube watcher as well. Oh Boy! Do I love the glam! I could easily go overboard with it but know that I need moments and not entire sagas! I’ve taken the test 2 times and gotten different results. There weren’t enough pictures to choose from so it felt forced in a way. I love Industrial but none of that came up at all. (1st time: Transitional 44%, 33% Glam, 22% Modern Farmhouse.) … (The 2nd test: Glam 50%, Modern Farmhouse 25%, Transitional 25%.) Moving into Momma’s house of 45years after she passed the day before Mother’s Day/my birthday last year, and blending my own home has certainly left me with “Too Much Stuff”. She has a gorgeous Tudor home but I will be updating the outside to read less Traditional and bit more 2024. (Leaning toward Black & White, or Sage..) I recently remodeled her Primary/Master Bathroom and thanks to the DESIGN SESSIONS, I think it’s awesome. Just need a couple more things and she’s done! I’m moving onto the attached long hall closet with window seat, leading to the bedroom. I’ll make them all cohesive. Very moody chocolate and bronze. I will send pictures soon and hope I get onto the member question episodes. Thanks for all you are doing. Take care of yourself! Blessings from the great Pacific Northwest, Lakewood, Washington! 💛🖤💛
I love this article! It’s so me. I’m probably 50% Glam, 25% Modern and 25% Coastal. I’m currently living in a rental home in Arkansas and struggling to make it feel like me. Im also struggling with some motor issues which sometimes requires me to use a walker. So not sexy😂. I’m 61 years young and adore your articles.
I collect beautiful old perfume bottles, that’s the extent of my glam. I’m a rusty bucket with wildflowers person. I do appreciate your talents and have watched all of your articles, even though I like a more beat up style than you usually show. You can learn valuable strategies from any good teacher and implement them into all styles! As always, thanks for sharing with us!
Glam materials-❤ Black sheer panels for privacy and brass metal grated panels on my living room walls. White wooden framed room divider with gold guided panels stand at my bedroom door entry. Style Urban Cottage patio Garden unit with glam accents. Beaten Metallic lamp table with metallic mushroom lamp in bedroom. Metallic design covered mirrors doors on white side Carlyle cabinets used as night stands.
Love the article like always! 🥰 I think my style is very similar to yours actually but maybe a little bit less Glam. I would say 20% Glam and I love that mixed with everything else. I think it’s so great to see you talk about Glam and how it doesn’t mean “tacky” or “cheap” but it can be used with other styles or if you have a ton of money then you can do it right like Maria has done and you of course! Always learning from you and I am just so thankful for your articles and the design sessions have helped me so much when I bought my first home and then Christmas would not be the same without you either! haha Lots of love to you as always ♥
I love glam look but like you I only like the love it in big expensive home which you show on your website. I love everything. I don’t have the budget to have that look. You are amazing. Love your bedroom. My bedroom is similar(very much smaller) as I have my bed in the middle and 2 narrow windows on each side. I copied your Christmas idea and my 2 windows have curtain lighting behind my sheer curtains and I leave them up all year round because I like to have some twinkle sometimes. My walls, curtains, lamp shades, buttoned bedhead are all in an it off white colour. My colour scheme is soft dusty pink and muted green, as is my art on the walls. I have an Australian theme throughout my home.
Oh, Rebecca, I have been waiting to see your GLAM design article. I don’t have a house style that can pull off glam, but I like touches of glam with crystal and chandelier hints. Thank you so much for sharing your friend’s flip house because it is STUNNINGLY BREATHTAKING! I really have enjoyed your design style series. Thank you for all of the work you have put into them. I need to look back to see if I have seen the Traditional Design Style or perhaps you haven’t r3eleased that one yet. According to your quiz, I’m 50% Traditional. I love perusal your shows.
