The 13 mini is my favorite since the original SE. I’m a huge fan of smaller phones, I had a 7 Plus and an 11 between my original SE and 13 mini and while they were great, I was always missing my small phones. So upset they didn’t do a 14 mini, maybe they’ll bring it back at some point but for now I’ll be using my 13 Mini until I can’t anymore like I did with my SE.

The iPhone 4 was innovative, shocking, and beautiful. Since then, no model has been more satisfying than 4. Currently, the design and function are also unsatisfactory, and there are too many unfortunate malfunctions due to the update. As a long-time iPhone user, I am very disappointed. After experiencing a freezing error that can’t be fixed, I’m thinking about buying a non-iPhone smartphone for the first time.
My very 1st iPhone was 5c in blue. It was a good one for a little bit over 3 years that I upgraded towards iPhone 8 in silver. I still have it as backup towards my SE 2 in white. Just in case something went wrong on the SE. My next iPhone will be iPhone 14 in purple. If the place ran out of that color that I will get the blue one.
I’ve got myself the iPhone 13 mini 512GB in starlight ⭐️😍 and I absolutely love it 🥰 to be able to use my phone one-handed and to fit in my pocket, for me that’s the number one purpose of a cellphone. I have some thing about it: Apple really skimped on iPhone’s anniversary this time around. Sure, iPhone 14 is basically Pro value in a vanilla bodies, with the Plus being the bigger one for good measure from there on out, while the Pro finally ditched the notch in favor of the cutout that Apple call the Dynamic Island! And all surprisingly refined and extended at that too (14 has 13 Pro as their power because A15 Bionic now has 5-core GPU; 14 Pro gets 48MP main camera; etc.)! But look at the names itself (not the Plus though, because that’s to avoid confusion with the Pro Max which is the same size): iPhone 14, not 15! This year is iPhone’s 15th anniversary (the original iPhone released in 2007). And here we are, seeing the releases of iPhone 14 in the “Far Out” event, dedicated to iPhone, Apple Watch (8, 2nd SE, Ultra) and AirPods (second-gen Pro). This was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the anniversary like iPhone 5 (first widescreen iPhone) and iPhone X (first full-screen iPhone, pronounced as 10 though), and yet Apple choose 14 as the number for this, relegating 15 one year late (2023 will see iPhone 15 and 15 Pro then, duh) when it’s literally another milestone! And all of this without any explanation from Apple whatsoever! I’ve watched the whole event, and I only heard and seen the number 14 in its natural presentation, as if it’s just another generational branding in this case. Whatever it is, Apple never explained why they decided to go with number 14 when it’s time for the number 15.

It’s sad, everyone was so hyped for the 8, and 10’s back then. Now they don’t sell me in Apple. Not even the 11. It’s only 5G networks now, the problem is, a lot of people still want some old phones just, New. Now they can’t here old phones that are new. I stopped getting iPhones after the 6s. They have become so weak in comparison to Android phones. I really hate how restricted the software on the iPhone is. I’m team Android since 2016 and I’ve never thought about going back ever since. I also feel like they scam people for not changing the design of these phones for almost 5 generations now. They wouldn’t really feel that they somehow upgraded.
Honestly, some people really amaze me especially “apple haters etc”, thinking they we’re supposed to make new designs and ideas forever before recycling the same look? You run out of things and ideas at a certain point, apple has nearly perfected the design, I’m honestly curious to see what the feature holds 5-10 years from now, people get so bitter and mad at apple for the same designs etc, when in reality I think it’s a good thing, because it helps those with older devices out, if the newer devices look similar to the older that helps older apple fans with mental health because it’s hard to differentiate the difference. Like when I previously had the 11, I felt good because the base iPhone 12 looked really similar so I was happy my device didn’t look to out dated, it gave me a sense of peace, I think this is something a lot of people look past but it definitely has a effect .
