Nissan vehicles have an interior color code on the VIN sticker affixed to the driver’s side door jamb. The VIN is the “Vehicle Identification Number” for your automobile or truck, which breaks down your vehicle’s information instantly. To find your exact match color, select the year, make, and model of your vehicle. If you don’t know the color name, contact your Nissan dealer with your VIN number and the parts department should be able to provide it to you. Alternatively, you may be able to look up your car’s information with an online VIN decoder that may provide information on your trim package.
Nissan vehicles include the interior color codes K (Gray), G (Charcoal), and W (Sage). The W (Sage) color code appears to be more of a brown/green mix color. The parts guy says that the code of “K” would indicate a grey interior. If the choice is narrowed to Steel and Graphite, then graphite would be darker than yours and darker than steel. Please highlight the color ID directly below the box of the color you require and copy the ID (including the letter prefix) onto your clipboard so that it may be matched to the OEM color name.
Nissan leather and vinyl dye colors are matched to the OEM color name. Find colors by year, make, and model and easily restore and repair the original color for DIY. The best you’ll get is the single character Nissan code for the interior of your car. For instance, the color code for Charcoal cloth on a 2002 is “G”. Anyone know what Nissan’s color code is for interior trim pieces for black? The part I am looking at lists K, B, and G for “trim Color”.

I don’t know if this is a “hack”, feature, or if I’m just the only one who didn’t know that this was possible. But I’ve had my 2017 Nissan Sentra for over a year and do a lot of delivery driving and in between deliveries and when it’s slow I like to just recline the seat a smidge and relax. Maybe play some articles or listen to a podcast. But I cannot stand my headrest/ head restraint they’re rounded and incredibly uncomfortable to my head but mainly my neck. After dealing with quite a lot of pain that added up from it over a couple months I was sitting in silence, laid back a little bit and holding my neck that was in pain and looked over at the passenger seat headrest and while sitting there staring at it the thought popped into my head ” I wonder if you can just take it out and flip it around” so I tried to do exactly that and VOILA!! IT ACTUALLY WORKED!! Once flipped around the headrest are a much more comfortable shape and it has dramatically help my neck, head, and back pain. Again perhaps I might be one of the only people who doesn’t know this if it is in fact a “feature” but regardless finding that out made my whole day 🙃 also in my opinion these seats look way better this way
1. Hold “Lock and Unlock” together for few seconds, lights blink, turns off alarm confirmation honk. Do the same to turn it back on 2. Hold “unlock” button to roll down windows 3. Insert key into door handle lock and turn right to close them back up There. saved you 2 minutes of infomercial for 48 seconds of content.
Just got rid of my titan (I cried literally) I knew about all this except closing the windows after putting key in. I wish I knew that soooo many times. I absolutely love Nissan. I’m on my 3rd. 08 Altima/2010 titan pro 4x/2020 rouge SL fully loaded. I love it. Wish she was a bit more powerful. But she’s amazing.
I have a 2017 Rogue Sport SV. How can I turn off the key fob without removing the battery? I know there is a way for Toyotas and want to do it with a spare fob. I don’t need it sending a signal a thief could repeat and use it to steal the vehicle or anything inside it. I figured the best way to lessen the risk would be turning off the one I don’t use. I also know that some other vehicles have fobs that turn off when no motion is detected. One thing that might help would be to not have it transmit unless it receives a signal from the specific vehicle it is programmed for. It would be some sort of encrypted message that identifies the vehicle and triggers its fob and only that one to send a signal. This of course would not be always transmitting and would not respond to other vehicles from the same manufacturer, just the ones they were programmed for. The idea of it is so that even if someone is trying to rebroadcast the signal, they can’t. They would need the vehicle to tell the fob to transmit.
Never buy a Nissan. My 2019 is trash I’ve had the car for 8mo the USB port worked for three months. Now the blue tooth is no longer working. My Dodge Charger has less problems than this car. I bought the car for gas mileage and display screen features that are no more. Trading this car ASAP. I will never look at another Nissan
When I used the electronic key to lock the door of 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport, I clicked the lock button, then fours doors were locked. However, the trunk lid was still unlocked when I approached it with the electronic key. I thought it might be set by default. There are only 3 buttons on the key and there is no one for the truck lid. Then, I managed to put the electronic key far away, and the trunk lid was found to be locked just like the doors. Is there any way that I can use these 3-button electronic key to lock trunk lid even when I carry the key close to the trunk lid?
GREAT tips … will try on my 2019 Rogue SL. Just watched another Tip article and also mentioned the windows. You have to have the two front windows with the power-up feature. Even with the SL, I did not get the two auto windows but will test this out in case their is another hidden feature for the SL.
It is not cool when you get up in the morning and find that your windows went down accidentally the night before and left the car open. (Lucky it did not rain.) It is adding insult to injury to try to pass that flaw as a desirable feature. Look online at the many people that have experienced such mishap. Apparently you place the FOB in a pocket with other keys and the button can be depressed lowering the windows at a 30 ft range.
My 97 bmw E36 that i pad $300 for literally has all of these special features that “makes Nissan stand out from it’s competitors” lmao 😂 And before people get their panties in a bunch, my 2015 Cashqai is a much better car than my 20+ year old shitbox, but this tech certainly isn’t new, nor does it set the manufacturer apart from others lol.
