Hickory Knob State Resort Park in South Carolina offers a unique overnight experience with its historic Guillebeau House, a restored 1700s log cabin, and several plain cabins. The park operates an 18-hole championship golf course, buffet restaurant, skeet shooting, boat ramp, archery range, meeting facilities, and more than 70 lodge-style rooms. The park is known for its golfing destination, thanks to the award-winning Tom Jackson.
The park also offers 17 rental cabins for overnight visitors, accommodating up to four people each and including furniture, electricity, heating, and other amenities. The state park welcomes close to 300,000 visitors per year from the surrounding area.
The park also features a golf course, RV park, boat ramp, cabins, and other amenities. The golf course is very nice, and the rangers monitor the course. Hickory Knob recently renovated 19 rooms in its lodge that accommodate pets.
The mountain-style homes feature modern furnishings, a full-size kitchen, and are located on the reservoir. The park also has cabins, a lodge, group rooms for meetings and activities, a restaurant, and more.
Little Blue, a guest favorite of Blue Ridge, is an idyllic cabin with a carefully curated design. Renters are required to bring complete linens, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, and bedding. The park also offers camping, cabins, and day-use facility reservations.

The cabins needed “maintenance” in the 90’s when my family would meet there for a week. WAS going to take my kids now that I’m grown, but ROB POWELL has let the entire place fall into disrepair. No tennis courts, the pool hasn’t been maintained in years, and the cabins are no longer available due to “maintenance”. Makes you wonder what hasn’t turned to shit there! All at the same time EVERY room is booked every weekend. NEW MANAGEMENT IS DESPERATELY NEEDED! Not what it once was, feel sorry for the people that actually pay to stay here.
