The AMG-Line is a styling package that can be added to nearly any Mercedes model, giving the vehicle an AMG-inspired look without the high-performance engine. This trim is designed to give Mercedes-Benz models a sportier look and feel without the high price tag and running costs of full fledged AMG models. It is a popular choice for drivers who want a touch of performance styling and a sporty feel.
The AMG Line trim adds a sporty and luxurious edge to the vehicles in the Mercedes line-up. On the outside, you’ll find unique styling elements like chrome accents and 18-inch or 19-inch wheels. The fundamental difference between an AMG model and an AMG Line Mercedes-Benz is that the AMG Line adds cosmetic differences designed to add to the overall look and feel of the car, while an AMG model features a high-performance engine designed with a specific design.
The Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Line 2022 – Exterior features unique styling cues, such as the W206 C-Class, which lacks the heft, breadth, and towkay proportions of the S-Class. The AMG Line Exterior with Night package adds gloss black accents, 18-inch wheels, and upgraded brakes for less than $2,200.
The AMG Line trim is a trim level that sometimes comes with certain options, such as AMG-inspired body styling, sporty bumpers, side skirts, larger alloy wheels, and signature AMG badging. Most Mercedes-Benz AMG® Night Package options are meant to enhance the grille or front end of the vehicle.
In summary, the AMG-Line trim is designed to give Mercedes-Benz models a sportier look and feel without the high price tag and running costs of full fledged AMG models.

AMG Line is a “nice to have” option for Mercedes-Benz, adding cosmetic differences to the car that don’t significantly impact performance. While it still has the high-performance engine of a standard non-Line AMG, it’s not worth the extra cost if you only care about drive quality. AMG Lines come with upgraded brakes, sports suspension, and a “sports direct-steer system” for agile vehicle response on winding roads and increased straight-line stability.
The main differences lie in cosmetics, with AMG body styling and various other features available across the range. For example, the A-Class has a diamond-shaped radiator grille with chrome pins and a silver louvre with a chrome insert.

One thing I am not sure about is can you buy a C class Mercedes that is not an AMG but looks exactly like an AMG with the premium package and can you save money by doing this as compared to buying the C43 AMG? I drove in full darkness with main beam on for a couple of miles and not a single car coming towards me flashed me, (I was at all times ready to turn them down if anyone took exception).
