  • I just watched this whole article and had to pick my jaw up off of my table when it was over! That is AMAZING!!! Who would have dreamed that you could make such beautiful creations with such ease? Boy, I am going to really impress many family and friends without ever giving up my secret! They can just think I have spent hours practicing. What a great invention. Wonderful job! Thank you so much for sharing it with us and God bless…

  • Well I Managed to make some reasonable roses, I think I didn’t roll my sugar paste thin enough though. I had a bit of a challenge to thin the edges without them fraying – is this likely to be the mixture of flower paste and fondant in the wrong quantities? As the person said below this is a no brainier, and is easy. I just need more practice. Thank you for this made my life a lot easier, well worth it and the article makes life even more simple thank you

  • I have just bought your rose cutter, set of 3, and so glad I came across this on how to use it correctly. This is brilliant. For some reason I did not get instructions with mine, but now I know how to use it. I already have the ball tool, so it’s back to having another go, and getting it right this time LOL Many thanks.

  • I love this cutter. I have made multi colored roses using orange and yellow. I did one cut out orange then another yellow. I then cut those in half length wise and used the edible glue to fasten to the opposite. I used the roller to make sure there was a good bond between the two. Then I began the rolling and fold down process. They turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • My Rose Cutter came yesterday. Today I am playing with it. I never thought I could create such beautiful roses and so quickly. I asked below about using modeling chocolate. I couldn’t get the chocolate alone thin enough without it tearing, so I mixed the chocolate with fondant. It works beautifully! Thank you for creating this simple yet effective tool and showing us how to use it. God bless.

  • I would like to make a cake similar to this one but I’m concerned about the roses actually sticking to the side of the tiers and not coming loose. I would imagine that some of them are very heavy. Has there ever been a problem with this happening to a cake with these roses cascading down. Is there a way to wire these roses for more stability.

  • OMG, I have got to order one of those…where can I purchase? Your invention is so clever! It will save so much time, yet the roses look so beautiful. I purchased a pattern embosser for rose petals last year…I will incorporate that tool with yours. The fondant & gum paste is calling my name. LOL I’m so excited…are you selling your rose cutters on Amazon.com by chance? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR TALENT & SKILLS! 😀

  • Wonderful article and can’t wait to give this a try…just starting off in this arena. Ordered my tips & bags and waiting on them. 🤞 Then time to jump in. You make it look so easy, until I’m in the middle and rewinding, lol..and tips on the petal dust, how much, where to get? You comments were adorable and give me confidence, Thank You..🤗
