  • great article, well explain and quick. this is a great product when there is no shut off valve accessible and the service can’t be interrupted e.g. multiple units buildings, the older ones never had individual shot off valves, the water service had to be interrupted for various units. new ones now if done correctly will have their own shot off valves. wondering if it can used on pex pipe or pvc?

  • These type of devices are ok for short time fixes, in time the little hole punctured in the water pipe by the easy fit instillation Will fur up & cause corrosion & blockage in pipe . Do a proper job switch the mains off & fit a proper traditional valve, because you will end up having to do,it anyway . If something sounds too good to be true,it usually is, so do it right & don’t take shortcuts .
