This guide provides a step-by-step guide on how to design high heels, starting with choosing the heel height, selecting the shoe style, choosing materials, drawing your design, cutting out your design, gluing it to the heel, letting the glue dry completely, and finishing up with a sealant or top coat. High heels can be made by selecting the desired material, cutting the fabric according to the pattern, stitching the pieces together, and attaching the heel to the sole.

Another tutorial shows how to restyle and customize a pair of heels to create 15 amazing, different looks for every occasion. A DIY sneaker kit is also available, including all the tools, leather, and components needed to get started, along with a step-by-step video tutorial.
In addition to these tutorials, there are other resources available online for creating custom-made heels, such as anatomy/terminology, options for band-saw users, making the heel, attaching the heel pieces, and more. Technology has finally cracked the secret to comfortable heels with custom-made shoes, starting with a 3D scan of your foot.

These are good Ideas but they’re done so tackily with things like glitter they should be multi layered with glues or holding sprays and for fabrics they should be folded over the edge for a more smoother look for people whom pay close attention to shoes and detail they would instantly notice the ridged and unevenness but that’s just my take I was amused enough to watch and criticize my opinion to the world lol
I really like the scarf idea for the first ones. But I’m not so into the golden bottoms. Maybe if it was sealed correctly and I knew it wasn’t going to rub off 5 minutes after I leave the house. Oof, the second leopard print pair just looks like a mess and a half. Doesn’t look appealing at all Don’t even get me started about the red glittered ones… The gold leaf ones I really wanted to like, but they look like a messy arts and crafts projects in all honesty.
I did something similar with a pair of cheap, off brand pointe shoes. Covered them with sequin mesh just for decoration. Other pairs I painted using acrylic paint mixed with craft glue and a little hot water. Trimmed with lace, beads, some with glitter although even sealed the glitter didn’t stay well. We used them as decoration at the dance wear store where I worked, they were too hard and the sizing was weird so they really weren’t good for anything other than crafts.
That paint would rub off in a hot second and probably leave scuff marks… the fabric would probably easily tear… shoes are put together with high endurance fabric… modge lodge will not adhere anything permanent to shoes… these hacks are not really feasible unless your just looking to destroy a pair of shoes
You’re awesome! I love the one with the butter fly but I like all these! Im making some myself. I have the same idea, I’ll see if I can show you in a article if I don’t mess them up, lol. Don’t worry about needing pearly shoes in such a situation: where I am, everything is closed, we need to have a signed paper to go grocery shopping, bakery or whatever, and here I am sewing shorts for this summer 😂😂 We all need a little distraction in these times, and a pair of pearly shoes seems the way to go 😂❤ Love you, take care ❤
I just realize that this is a DIY I wanted to do for my own wedding but had to cancel my beautiful European family trip wedding.. because of the Covid-19 to keep everyone safe. Thank you for this article. I will be able to have a great idea on how to do them. A little light in my sad wedding story. Love you thank you!
I love this idea and I’m definitely going to get my inner shoe decorator on and make some adorable summer shoes. I’m hoping that when this virus passes, I’ll be showing them off at the pool 🤞🏻. I’m so happy that you made and posted this article. It’s giving me some great ideas to do during this downtime. Thank you for putting a smile on my face and some hope in my heart ❤️ Ruth
I would have actually finished filling in the heel with the medium and small pearls, not done the inside so that you can see the nice original colour. But that’s just personal preference and it could have ended up not as nice as the way you decided to take it. 👍💖 I like seeing your articles because you do tend to do it differently to how I would have styled and have surprised me with how amazing your projects turn out (goes to show there’s no one way of doing things!) 💖💖💖 thank you for making beautiful things in these difficult times, they give hope and make us smile because of how pretty they are! 💖💖💖😊💖💖💖
Hi, I’m perusal you from Barcelona (Spain) we are also in quarantine, and it will be long 😿😿😿 so I need distraction, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Netflix and YouTube are my best friends now. Do the shoes need to be a particular fabric (e.g. suede, satin) or can you still do this DIY with leather, plastic/synthetic, etc. shoes if you change the type of glue? P.S. Thanks for providing a much needed distraction in these trying times. If you’re up for making them, I would love to be able to keep perusal your articles.
So sweet article and u r right we need this article to keep us busy and far away from this virus situation. In my country all schools, university, fitness are closed. Hi Orly, I really like your DIY articles. I think you’re super creative and you create stuff that has functionality. That being said, I want to challenge you. Can you use materials that are not plastic in your DIYs? Rinestones and crafting pearls can be classified as micro plastics that are not pleasant for our environment. So how about it? Any ideas for sustainable and eco friendly DIYs?
If you are wondering if you should do articles and what. Follow your heart. But if you do. Consider articles focusing on what is at hand, keeping entertained, reusing, upcycling, making things last longer. Creative mending. If you are up to articles they may help uplift your followers. And I feel the fashion industry and situation is about to shift dramatically. That you and those like you are on the Crest of that wave to help teach to redo and upkeep.
We are here in Pakistan also following isolation n social distancing. Isolation is the only way out. During which we can Watch, eat all home cooked food, play games, have conversations, read or pick up a hobby. Things you might not have done in a long time, since we get so busy in our daily lives. Will surely try your pearl heels.
wow, looks easy enough to do! i’m shopping for vionic sandals and realised i could customise them to make them as pretty as i want. that way, i’ll have a quality, arch supportive shoe, in the style that i want! i’ve tried putting gel arch insoles into pretty, but non supportive shoes and my feet hurt after several hours. thanks for this tutorial!

I ended up just buying a random sealant . I just don’t want the paint to get messed up if I’m wearing the bag outside and it starts raining! Help please

How are you and your family doing? Praying for you and all my favorite YouTubers. Thank You, I love your website and have a section in my craft closet just for your projects. I am a preschool teacher was saving for the summer break but now it’s on!! I am preparing to go to Walmart for a new microwave (it died & I have a ting of meal prepped food in the fridge) so I will stop by the craft section.
My babe’s 5th birthday party and a big family gifted trip to Disney World for June. I needed some Orly Shani goodness today!!💯🙌🏻 Either way, the coral shoes are gorgeous, but the extraness is what makes them special, standout, custom!! For those of us who can’t wear heels, imagine pearly Birkenstock’s!!✨🤍🤩🤍✨
Is anyone here great at technology? What would be great is a Facebook group where we can could do Orly challenges or just post what has been made! Be well everyone. Please take this virus seriously. It is not about panic but preparation and prudence. Stay postitve and do not let fear control our behaviour. Generations before us has survived many challenging times before and so will we!!
