  • Meh, If I were putting my life on the line for “my country”, I’d think the least they can do is fly me on their dime to wherever I needed to go. This is small potatoes, I suspect more pens, paper, and pencils get pilfered than this guy racked up in cost. I hear that this is not a dismissive issue by many, but I gotta say, traveling on the company dime doesn’t freak me. Not to say that he didn’t warrant the reprimands, but for me I’m not staying awake thinking it’s hot news. All this talk of ethics to folks we train to be expert killers seems weird to me. I guess they killed others ‘ethically’? I wonder if there are people that still believe that is the way “we” kill people “over there”, canoed heads ‘n all?
