Just the fact that the robotic dolphin exists and common enough to viewed publicly is practically proof that more highly sophisticated robotic tech exists somewhere already, just imagine what some billionaires, corporations, and governments have stashed away around the world this very moment, or even better not stashed away at all but right in front of us and cant even tell
Mountain goat are really impressive creatures they have the palm of the feet or hoove whatever you want to call it is soft and the outside is hard so the rocks contorts to the inside of the hooves and gives them super traction and if you look at the weird way they move they do that on purpose thry choose the rock they want to step on very carefully choosing the best rock to keep moving. Its really fascinating
2:31 Yeah… I’d never believe a Navy pilot could land a jet on an aircraft carrier after serving on one for 3 years. And no one has ever hear of it ever happening so it’s a good thing you and a few thousand other people have article of it… Seems like you lost focus of your premise that it WOULDN’T be believable if it were not filmed…
Those ball boys in international soccer games get away with alot without be punished they actually interfere with the time clock by not giving the ball back right away, they would never be able to get with that here in America, they would lose their ball boy Carriers quick here an if recognized on the streets by a crazy fan they would be in danger of getting beat up or worse if they effected someone’s favorite team by doing that.
The clip that starts at 0:54 seconds in….. you do realize that you cut out the ACTUAL unbelievable part of that article? That the reporter was hit by a flying stop sign, knocking her airborne out of frame??It was just literally seconds from happening before you cut!! And you cut that???? For her voice in the wind???????? Done with perusal any of the rest of this article!!
They’re all great. The goats on that steep rock is insane!, The tasmanian dog on the socker field. LOL! He was not about to be handled! The pool, the masks in the sky not a fan of masks or the entire Covid-19 era. I wish we could scratch it out of history. The instrument in the forrest was nice buy what purpose will it ever serve?
At 0:57… how exactly do you find out you are good at this, what’s the conversation like that goes…. I think I’ll try shooting a bow with my feet, while upside down balancing on a 3/4 inch PVC pipe. And how would you list that on a job application under experience? At neighborhood block parties when parents are telling people about their daughters going to med school or their sons going into engineering, does her parents tell people their daughter is getting pretty dang good now after years of practicing shooting a bow with her feet while balancing upside down?
The dog in the article scooting along on his front side may have trying to itch his wee wee if you didn’t have hands and plausible thumb’s like humans or some other animals like primate’s in nature shows they can itch thier wee wee and tutu hey sometimes you just have give it a really good scratch and itching anyway he picked a public place for that private activity but he’s a dog after all it’s funny
The dog “faking a limp” was actually doing something called “expressing his glands”. Seems like dogs have some glands in their butt area that periodically need to be cleaned and this is how fido does it. I howled with laughter the first time I saw our Labrador dragging her butt across the carpet. Dad explained it all to set me straight. No. I didn’t make this up.
i charge 150 for me and truck, 100 for me and a trailer, 250 for two guys and a truck, $1/lb, that will come off the scale at the dump. add $50 if i have to handle a pick up and its not just set of any packing services, for example yard removal if the leaves aren’t raked and bagged we charge for that hourly.
You hit every spot. I always tell my customers there’s three key factors that determine the price which are weight, accessibility and volume. Estimates through pictures have been the key to my success. I used to do all in person estimates and it would mess my schedule up like crazy if I didn’t get one job and it was a huge hassle.
It really depends on the area you’re in example. If you’re in Boca Raton Florida to remove a couch would be a higher bid. Then let’s say if you were in another area where it was lower, per capita, income or more competition for example, would you say removing a couch that was on the porch and took five minutes what would you bid?
I’m just starting out but I’ve had issues with estimating with jobs that have mattresses and box springs. The transfer station in my town charges $50 for each mattress and $50 for each box spring. After calculating my overhead expenses, even my eyes bulge out at my estimate. For a couch the minimum dump fee is a $20 minimum. I am planning on taking the majority of furniture to goodwill or savers, or even flipping it myself for more of a profit
When I get onsite for a house cleanout, I calculate mentally how many loads are going to be, and then I add one more truck load just in case and then I go high on price if the client says it is what it is, the job is mine, and if he complaint about price then we start negotiating to get the job for a fair price. I work for a company, and I am not bilingual, but I know how to upsell in English to make money!
I give my price upfront so I can get the tire kickers off my line! Lol the customer going to go get other estimates anyways if they’re that type. They either want the job done asap or not! Maybe different for hauling as there’s lots of competition but I do handyman work. Thinking about doing hauling full time as I only do it on occasion. Good tips!
