Reinstalling Double Sliding Pocket Doors Inside?

Common problems with pocket doors can be simple or more extensive. Replacing a swinging door with a pocket door can recover at least 10 square feet of floor space around the door and free up real estate on the walls for fixtures or artwork.

The first step in the installation process is to attach the track, which should be perfectly perpendicular to the door’s height. The double pocket door opening is created, and the double pocket door frame is assembled and installed. The pocket door track and hardware are then installed.

The installation of a sliding pocket door system requires two steps: the installation of a counterframe, a metal sructure specific for plasterboard walls, and the installation of the pocket door stud wall. The steps involved in installing pocket doors include ensuring the workspace is suitable, assembling the pocket door stud wall, building the frame, and affixing the pocket door system.
