The 15th annual Best of Year Awards, part of Best of Design 2020, is announced in virtual ceremonies on DesignTV by SANDOW through the week of December. The program consists of four homeowners showcasing their homes in their unique style to impress the other three contestants, who rate the interior. In the West Midlands, John Marron showcases his modern semi-detached home, while interior designer Katherine Jukes opens the doors of her country’s homes to scrutiny.
The contest begins with John Marron’s modern semi-detached home, followed by Katherine Jukes’s modern semi-detached home. Norma has it all, while Paula’s modern home is modern with a twist. John has a sarcophagus in his living room, and Linda’s home used to house monks and sheep. The show sees four proud homeowners compete to win £1,000 by showing off their homes to the other contestants, who will then rate their home based on their unique style.
