  • WOW! You said more than a mouthful! At 68 y/o, the lifting of heavy pipe & drape bags, boxes full of heavy decor items and yes, the saturation of decorators in my area really shut me down. I decorated my church for Mother’s Day and was reignited but again fizzled out. You are speaking through the Holy Spirit and touched “that nerve” to not give up; give in. I’m aged but not old, I’m more than a conqueror, and my gift was given to be used. Thank you for the encouragement!!

  • I just love you. God encouraged me with words similar to these the other day. He said there is some one out there for you. There is someone who wants what you have. What God has for me is for me🙏🏽❤️Thank you for your transparency & thank you for always speaking words of encouragement. God bless you.😊

  • I agree with what you are saying. Frankly, my area is saturated with balloon decorators. I got tired of competing with the lowest prices, so I decided to change my target market. I had to look at my business differently. Your business model has inspired me to sell packages instead of individual decor like everyone else is doing. Thank you for the encouragement to move forward.

  • Codie, thank you so much for this article. I had heard you and other people raving about all the other ones you mentioned but no one talks about the Assisted Living Facilites. I’m looking to acquire a few down here in South Florida. Thanks again for the report really helped inspire me to continue. Acquiring takes a lotta a work and lotta learning.

  • Codie. Good content. I’m just a regular W2 employee who Climbed the ranks. I live below my means and invested delta into single family real estate. I have 5 homes now and renting it out in Class A areas. The cash flow eventually will pay me to live once loans are paid off. Also, bought in 2020 and 2021…. My loan rates are 2.99-3.6%…. Talk about great timing and luck..l my online savings now pays 2%!

  • Real estate agent here in CA, real estate is obviously a “safe” asset but just like Codie says Real Estate is dropping. You may be thinking “I should just wait until it all falls down.” Yes you can wait until it drops even lower, but you may be better off with buying properties under market value (because they need work done) and forcing appreciation when you fix it up. That way you can hike up rents to mirror the condition of the property.

  • I have a Mortgage Company, but new to the concept of business acquisitions for an overall family portfolio and I am super excited about it. Question is in this article you describe Vending as almost too simple a business to start for non-beginners. I am a beginner to anything outside mortgage. What would you recommend for starter businesses if you’re not quite a beginner in business but to expanding out? Thanks!

  • As for trucking never buy a new truck always buy a pre emissions! Unless you’re unlucky and live and run in commiefornia and like minded states. These trucks have waaay too many problems with the emissions and will co$$$T in downtime, repairs ( $1,000s just for a sensor which maybe on back order for maybe a month plus you still have the payment and your own household bills). Do a background check on your drivers and require at least 5 years experience. I bought my first truck for $5,500, my second for $8,000 and my third for $ 22,000 . I had to put money into all, but I had the title. Run my own truck the kung flu and O’Biden made things waaay harder. However, I adjusted the freight I haul and am no longer local, own truck and trailer and gross between $200- $250 thousand a year, freedom of when I take off and what and where I will run and a lot of tax right offs. It is not an easy career/ business; you need to know this business, too many variables and complexities.

  • If you want to make 200-500 per hour, by yourself, no employees needed, all you have to do is find an overgrown town(small city) and do vehicle window tint. The competition is low, and if you work a 4-5 hour day(that’ll be your average), you can make upwards of $1000 per day or more. All cash. All under the table. That’s $30,000 per month roughly. You don’t need to jump through all of the legal loopholes, and pay taxes amigos. And you’d be a mobile vehicle wimdow tinter. Meaning you are primarily using other people’s garages 😂And so the only cost for you, is your gasoline money, your tools and your tint. Matter of fact, you can even offer remote starts that are PLUG-N-PLAY(easy peasy), and also if you’re doing hugh end cars, like Corvettes, Ferraris, Lambos, you can expect to charge $1,000 per car in these luxury vehicle categories. You are welcome. Have a nice day! 😌
