  • How did you put the pieces end to end? When I put mine in, there is an interlocking lip that stops the pieces from butting up on the ends. You then have to tap in it from the end to eliminate the gap and lock in the ends. While this seems correct, it’s extremely time consuming, and some pieces are very difficult, adding tons of extra time to install the floor. At this rate, we will never get this floor installed. We have experience in installing snap together floating floor, but never had this problem before. Please adivse

  • If installing on a concrete basement floor, make sure you do vacuum and clear the area of any little debris or ‘boogers’. Those little bits will mess with the tongue and grove and damage some planks. Underlayment is not ‘needed’ as these LVP has a layer underneath them already but it can help minimize any debris from being knocked up with moving around.
