Armor All® Cleaning Wipes are a convenient one-step cleaning solution for car interior surfaces, including dashboards, vinyl, and fabric. They are effective in removing dirt, coffee stains, and pen ink from dashboards, car interiors, and tops. To use Armor All, place a couple of cups of water in a small bucket or bowl with a few drops. If the wipes have dried out, you can rejuvenate them by adding water to the container.
After vacuuming up loose dirt and dust, use a DIY cleaning spray and a clean microfiber cloth to wipe interior surfaces clean. Armor All is great for plastic, faux leather, and other surfaces. Monthly interior car cleaning includes a quick vacuum and cleaning of dash, vents, screens, and cupholders. Seasonal cleanings involve washing the car’s interior with Armor All sprays, protectants, and automotive cleaners.
ArmorAll is one of the best OTC water-based dressings available, but it can be watered down to achieve the desired shine. Diluted APC like Simple Green or 303 can remove stubborn dirt, and a general-purpose cleaner can be used to dilute the product to the proper strength for interiors.
Armor All® Car Wash is recommended for use by pouring the wash concentrate into a bucket and mixing with water (using 1 oz. per gallon). After diluting the product, use a bucket of hot water mixed with Dawn dish soap to gently scrub areas with the mixture and wipe with a clean hot towel. Nobody complained about the runoff down the storm drain?!! That’s my BIGGEST fear of using it, here in Oregon. I’ve had the product (still unopened) sitting in my garage for over a year. If an inspector comes by due to a concerned neighbor’s call, the fine can be pretty hefty. The joy of washing the car in my own driveway is no longer the same for this boomer.
Living on the knife edge, I decided to wash the car, power washer and all. Runoff didn’t even make it to the storm drain, but went into the mulch strip between mine and my neighbor’s driveway. If only I could post pics to show before and after, shammy wipe down, etc. I did TWO consecutive washes, first one with 1:3 soap to water and the next with 3:1 soap to water. No foam to speak of in either ratio. Did the second wash immediately after, just to be sure and give the product a second chance. PRODUCT FAIL, other than a hint of orange aroma and squeaks during shammy wipes. NO BEADING either. The shammy turned black with the dirt that was still on the car and had to be rinsed out in fresh water between wiping sections of the car. The rims were bright ONLY because I THOROUGHLY brushed them BOTH times. Sun Joe SPX 3000 power washer. Last wash and wax, 8 months ago at the car wash.
