  • Watching years of Jeff Lewis has offered a fascinating front row seat of how a very ill person horrifically affects those around him. I feel deeply for the scores of people around him that have suffered. I’ve no doubt working with Jeff Lewis would be like drinking poison every single day. I think it’s important to refrain from laying all blame on Lewis given the production company consistently took advantage of his psychosis, validating him to attempt to drive audience numbers. I hope he finally gets the help and peace he and those around him desperately need.

  • If he’s still “part of the fam” and left on good terms why even put this story out?? Just to tarnish his reputation? Also disclosing someone’s severance info whether it’s how much, how long, etc. is tacky as hell. His finances are his business. I’ve never liked this Jeff Lewis guy, he seems like a sneaky asshole who is money hungry, stingy, judgmental, and rude.

  • I’m going to start this by saying I really like Jeff and he’s great entertainment and I understand his crazy. That being said he is really doing a disservice to his company he has so much free publicity his company should be huge at this point and it’s not I’ve seen as a viewer so many very talented staff leave and well they might not all say it but it’s because of the culture he has created. No one is perfect you need talented long term dedicated employees to grow. Tyler shouldn’t leave to move up in life he should move up in your firm and grow that way. Matthew was run off because you showed him your overly controlling ways. No one that’s you want working for you is going to work for you if you micromanage every detail. Your potential is being wasted and it’s your fault.

  • how does this toxic person still have a platform to smear everyone in his personal life – and share their personal lives so freely? I struggle to understand Bravo’s loyalty to condoning him (time and time again). The sign off of this, “I wish him the best” after he just trashed Tyler to all future employers and left his credibility with a giant question mar.. all on a national platform.

  • “To me, my close friends, my family, my clients.” Come on, I’ve listened to this show from the beginning and watched Flipping Out, but this is petty even for Jeff. Tyler has worked for you for 4 years, stuck by you, you’ve said you consider him family… and you fire him for using a discount code? Sorry, that’s bs.

  • It is typical — beyond acceptable — to receive a designer discount/employee discount when working in this field. Unless the contract says something along the lines of “After 5 years, Jeff Lewis Design will renegotiate contract to include a discount in the amount of _____% to be used for personal purchases.” Or, “Any employee of Jeff Lewis Design may only use company credit and all vendor orders must be approved by Jeff Lewis. Any employee of Jeff Lewis Design may use company credit card for design clients of Jeff Lewis Design exclusively. Any adjustments to prices on invoices submitted must first be submitted to Jeff Lewis for review and receive his signed approval. Any employee who uses a personal or company credit card for purchases to self or anyone not working with Jeff Lewis Design will be subject to termination without notice.”

  • theyre takin a hit cos you had a two year history with them but your four years with him count for nothing!! Why not just offer him to make up the discount he received and pay it to the shop who is the only one actually out anything and keep everything copacetic and quiet and say never do that again oh and maybe keep a track of your books before anyone else does the exact same thing ? I dont suppose anyones ever used a home depot discount from a friend that works for them or likewise ?

  • I remember how Jeff was the beginning of his series… the last few shows that I watched, he was much more easygoing (by comparison). Come to find out that he was actually quite funny, and when it comes to his loved ones, he is generous, sweet and FIERCELY protective! I quite liked his grandmother. She kept it real with him! Kept him grounded.
