My French Schengen visa got refused and applied for a refusal appeal, its been more than 2 weeks never heard from them, was I supposed to submit my passport along with the refusal appeal application? I got a good agency in Bangalore,(Europath Overseas)they just took only 50k for guiding thru whole journey of selecting University to visa process. No, that’s not at all a real reason for your refusal. If that’s the reason they could have given you a shorter visa only for 90 days for your first trip. The real reason is that Schengen countries reject & approves any visa. There are thousands & thousands of cases where genuine candidates are rejected and candidates who applied asylum got their visa approved which clearly shows inefficiency of those embassies and failure of Indian government. After USA visa you can easily get any visa except Schengen visa.

Hi… We have faced rejection recently like u in June… We were planning to visit 5 countries in July.. and all bookings were done by our travel agency.. we just had to submit our financial documents…and it was a group booking… Now we are facing a issue our travel agency are not refunding the air ticket expenses…now along will the loss of 20k I have lost 1.5 lacs as per the travel agency policy, as it was mentioned in their policy that they will not refund only 75% amount of vosa gets rejected… Can u guide us if we can complaint against the agency in this case… Because the reason mentioned was The information submitted regarding justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable. Thanks for sharing the detailed article. Few queries: – Schengen Visa is anyway for minimum 6 months generally. So why did you put your next trip in the covering letter as an additional request? – You mention the loss is of only Rs 20,000. But you must have booked the flights (or possibly hotels as well) which generally are partially or non-refundable. So were they not valid ie were they only planned itinerary? Asking because not having valid flights may also lead to rejections.
It happens and really hurts. My 4th Schengen was also rejected by NL embassy, I still couldn’t understand why till this day. I had even appealed but they didn’t considered my case. I think its better to apply with same documents to the embassy which issued visa last time, if youre lucky you might get a longer duration visa!

Which countries you think can provide visa for business visit trips for tech conferences, expos, meetups etc. I am signing up for multiple events across Norway, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, etc. But I have noticed a higher percentage of visa refusal especially for visit visas. Do you know any countries that allow visit visa comparatively easier than others?
Why did you apply visa of a country like Finland ? You can literally apply for a visa from any schengen country why did you chose Finland? I would not give 2 dollars about Finland…. Finland means nothing to me particularly….I would not apply for any visa apart from France, Greece, Italy, Spain etc

My tour date is 10 th May to 22 th May. This is a group tour arranged by a tour agency. We both got the same rejection reason is ‘The information submitted….not reliable. १) Out of 5.2L balance, I hv taken 4L from my SBI Maxgain account where I parked this surplus amount to save the interest just 10 days before the appointment and only mentioned that I transferred it from my another account, I didn’t provide max gain account details becz that statement shows negative amount (i.e your remaining loan amount) should I need to submit that account statement also. २) I had done a sale deed last week, I have not submitted that DD in my account till date.
