I am removing a window to install a door. there are 6 circuits ( wires ) underneath the window going to the kitchen. I do have a crawl space, I am thinking about pushing the wires into the crawl space into a junction box, what do you think? is there a gadget that can be used to identify the correct wire to reconnect?
It’s hard to say, how difficult it would be, because I don’t know your exact situation. As far as cutting the frame, just grab a sawzall and cut it into pieces, after you’ve removed the glass panels of course. If you’re going to remove the window and install a door, beware of the electrical wires in the walls that will need to be moved, if there in the wall, under the existing window.
